Moving those extra kg does make a difference but like motoadve I come an enduro racing back ground and I considered my 100kg ktm exc 200 to be light and chuckable ?
This is good to here have just bought a pair after reading the posts on the e wild .
Merlin cycles are selling them for £35 each and I managed to get another fiver off with a voucher.

Been waiting for this one as an owner of several Whyte s I know they really suite me and work well in British conditions with all their bearings and seat post sealed up nicely..
Will be first in line to test the 150mm version ?
The 25kph really is to slow most half fit riders can easily ride faster on the road for me the current speed limit renders Ebikes unless for my 28 mile journey to work as I generally average around the 20mph and I'm no cycling pro .
Yes would have definitely come along but I’m on holiday at the moment it’s shit riding in the Lake District ?
Hopefully be able to do the next group I work shifts so do work a lot of weekends and tend to ride mid week
Cheers Max
Ok will do I am in the same position as you all my mates are running regular bikes so I tend to group ride on my Whyte s150 and solo on my overvolt it would be good to ride with another ebber.

Just had my new motor fitted after the bearings went after 120 miles on my old motor and have been looking around for a solution for protecting the bearings, have come across an after market seal which claims to offer better protection called mud stop has anyone used this seal? Is it any good...
Going to be hitting the trails on pitch and Holmbury hill this Sunday 18-20 mIles ish . Plan to get to walking bottom car park around 0900. If anyone is interested?
They could learn a lot from companies like KTM , You get a really good owners manual which has the maintenance schedule and basic owner maintenance and a full parts catalogue.
The sealed for life was quoted to me only yesterday at my lbs ?
I had my bike in my lbs 50 miles before it failed it received a clean bill of health in regards to the motor, on the documentation next service due at 750 miles .
The shop mechanics seem to be under the impression the the motors are sealed for life.
My background is from mx and enduro the idea...
Interesting maybe Bosch should supply a maintenance manual with the bike, if I had a maintenance schedule I would follow it.
Not soaking the drive side is practically impossible unless you only ride in the 2 weeks of summer we have ?
