Black Friday Deals? Most Comfortable E-MTB for trail usage - Bosh gen 4

I struggled with shoulder pain and arm pump as a result of the shoulder issues. I changed to the Spank Vibrocore bar and don’t suffer either now. SPANK SPIKE 800 Vibrocore™ Bar

    Analysis Paralysis

Wrong. All eMTBs are cool, rad, awesome, wicked, mad and sick!

    Stolen bike success

Really pleased for you @Growmac that you got the bikes back. Other than sitting on your bike at the bar, you couldn’t have done much more to protect them. There’s nowhere to put the scum bags hence they get away with a slap on the wrist and so they are more brazen than ever. Prisoners could...

Hi there! Here to learn about eMTBs and figure out which one I want!

Firstly, great choice on wanting to get involved. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made was my emtb. I doubt you’ll be disappointed! Agree with others comments, but the key is setting your budget. It’s so easy to have your head turned with so much variety. And with an oversupply of bikes now...

Appropriate roof bike carrier for two E MTB (Rockrider and LaPierre)

I’ve used the upride for my emtb but to stick to the 20kg weight maximum defined by Thule, I removed the battery, pedals and chain. Didn’t have any issues but certainly took corners slower than usual to reduce lateral weight transfer. Went through considerably more fuel on a long motorway trip...

Hello, new bloke here from Tasmania Australia.

Yes Tassie! One of the world’s great wonders. A very special place indeed. I would love to ride there. I live in the UK now but my family are in Smithton. Where are you based?

    Pins & needles

@RustyMTB whilst I didn’t suffer pins and needles, I’ve found the Spank Vibrocore bar to have completely eliminated my arm pump. SPANK SPIKE 800 Vibrocore™ Bar...

Help us make E-MTB holidays better!

To answer the OP, I’ll happily hire anywhere that has decent bikes. Couldn’t get my Whyte e-150rs up to Scotland for a work trip so I hired a Trek Rail and toured the Kirroughtree area. Whilst I wasn’t a fan of the Trek when comparing to my Whyte, for £60 it provided 4hrs of mountain bliss

Hope brakes on a Whyte e150rs

I also have an e-150rs and found rerouting the rear brake hose rather difficult, even using a cable routing tool. I had to take the motor housing cover off to help the hose through. It’s very tight in there and the hose has to bend sharply around the motor and it snags easily

Stolen - Mondraker Crafty and Giant Defy - West Sussex

Real shame that. Not only are you dealing with the loss itself, but knowing someone has broken in to your home/garage etc is terribly unsettling. And the fact that the cops have little to zero interest given they know the bikes are almost impossible to recover rubs salt into the wound. With cars...

    Body armour, so much choice

I have the Leatt Aiflex Stealth, great fit, breaths well and has proven to protect on impact. I prefer to have individual elbow pads rather than integrated due to better range of movement. Really rate the fit of Leatt gear in general leatt

    Three years on

I’m 2.5yrs in to my e-150rs. Love it. Such a planted ride. Don’t plan on ever getting rid of it. I certainly don’t need to!

Whyte E150 RS Pivot Bearings Replaced.

Pardon my ignorance with bearings, but does the warranty cover defects only or does it also provide for service/replacement at certain intervals, therefore leaving me only to pay LBS labour?

    SRAM Code RSC issues

Whilst I don’t have a solution, I have the same set up (RSC, HS2) on my Whyte/RS Lyric with no issues. Also self installed. Levo/Fox issue maybe given others with the same problem?

Mad air time. Well worth it! Hope you’re well healed now

Whyte e160rsx vs 180rsx vs alternatives?

Yes it’s a big layout, but with all the research you’ve done and some advice from users here, head down to your LBS and have a good chat. With the huge rise in popularity, they don’t need to “sell” you a bike in order for it to sell. Some LBS’ can’t keep up with demand. There’s no benefit to you...
