It depends which pro you have as i am not sure you can change the travel on all versions of the fox 36s, you will need to do some research, i only know it is possible on the factory ones.
As far as i am aware the frame is the same, it just comes specced with a 160mm fork instead of a 150mm. I bought the pro 0 and just extended to the forks by 10mm, a 50 euro job, and got the geometry of the SX but without the coil shock. As to whether i can tell the difference of this half...
Not 100% sure but on the app maybe when you change the info in your profile on the ride control app from metric to imperial, it will change your kms to miles.
I ride a giant e trance 0 and it rips, changed the forks up to 160mm and has the same geometry as an SX now, rips around the alps, great bike, as i am sure the levo is, but £700 is also a pretty decent biking holiday somewhere!!!
The trance 1 has a great spec for the price in my opinion.
Personally i wouldnt try and save weight on spokes, its an ebike, savings are going to be marginal, i would be trying to build up a solid set of wheels that can take a proper beating if its going to have 23kg of bike on it. Its an e bike, weight is not that important, you have a motor.
always wear a helmet, and to be honest if a mate turned up to a trail without one i wouldn't ride with him. I'll be the one that has to apply the first aid.
I rode Craigieburn when i was out there on holiday, no e bike though but the trails were ace, rode the edge, the luge and cheeseman DH all top quality, great destination for biking...
Fidlock, works with magnets and is side entry, costs a bit more but you will never lose it.
I have tried Fabric bottles and a specialised side entry cage. Fabric doesn't work well on very rough ground. Benefit of Fidlock is when you have no bottle you don't really notice the mount...
i bought a Trance e 0 and just upped the forks to 160mm, only costs about 50 euros and you end up with the geometry from the SX. Not so bothered about the coil as i like the easy tunability of the air shock.
Hi Jan, good app, like the idea of this linking the bike to the Garmin, is there anyway you could program it to work over a bluetooth connection? Seems the Giant connectivity is not through ANT and only through bluetooth.

I just fitted the shim on my battery this afternoon. Hopefully that will be it all sorted. Took it for a ride before i put the shim in and it didnt cut out once. Other than the battery issue i am super happy with the bike. Got the Trance 0 and has a DT Swiss rear hub so should hopefully...
Battery is a known problem i believe. Happened to me and a friends bike, contacted Giant and they are sending a spacer for underneath the battery contacts. Should hopefully sort it.
