I got the Bomber CR on sale for pretty cheap as a backup for my EXT when I send it out for service annually. I honestly cannot feel that much difference. I'm not a crazy hard hitting rider bottoming out the shock or anything like that but it works perfectly fine for what I do. I too have the...
Seriously? We all make purchasing decision based on product reviews all the time.... Most of the reviews do compare them to Codes as a reference. So if you know Codes then you can have a pretty good idea. That said, I do agree it's not a 100% accurate assessment of just how stiff the pull is...
They are not installed. I know from the feel before installing them they are stiffer than the Codes that came with the bike. I'm sure the stopping power is top notch but I can guarantee the feel and modulation will not match the Hayes..for me.
I bought the Maven Ultimate kit with the rotors and stuff for my Levo..then I got buyers remorse after readying about how harsh the levers are. After installing T4's on my Stumpy around the same time I'm thoroughly convinced I do not want any other brakes except Dominions. I need to return...
Yes, they use DT Swiss 350 free hubs.
What do you have now? Shimano Microspline? I switched from SRAM Eagle to Shimano because I prefer the gearing. The prices in XT and especially SLX are much cheaper than GX or XO as well. So unless your converting the T-Type it’s maybe not worth it…
I bought a Bomber CR coil shock on sale to use as a replacement when my EXT E-Storia goes in for service. The price was pretty reasonable vs an air shock and used the same spring from the EXT to get proper sag. I'm actually very impressed with the shock. Had multiple PR's since it's been on...
The Kids SL is now on sale for $2500, that's 35% discount. Not sure what the resale value of a Kids SL with 1.1 motor but the whole concept just got a lot cheaper....
I picked up a Bomber CR body on sale for $250 to use when I send in my EXT E-Storia in for service. Fits nicely and achieved pretty much the same sag with the EXT spring.
Really? It seems like the lightweight/middleweight category is almost all we've had on offer for the past 12 months. Now some new full fat options are hitting the market which is a welcome addition in my mind.
I'm with you on on some of this new Sram auto shift tech. The only thing that I do...
What I like most is now you can use a range extender with a Full Fat motor/battery combination giving you virtually unlimited range. I hope all manufacturers emulate this.
