    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I ride full 29 with 170mm, I don’t feel it lacks pop in the front. It’s heavy of course, and the Zeb absorbs a lot of energy but it’s ok to me

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

New motor (spare - 43V) arrived yesterday and I rode it today, I did not have the time yet to plug the besst and check the fw but this version is awful ! It feels like it's another motor, absolutely zero overrun, not powerful at all (feeling), power delivery is not smooth, that's a nightmare ! I...

Weight wise, I think the tires are also a good explanation, if you want something that won’t’ fail on the first trail, it’s heavy! Also, what battery do you have ?

    Another LCE930 Build Thread

this is what we can called a very detailed feedback! Thanks a lot! I keep all this in a safe place, and I will think about this, I’ve built a 12s1p pack while I was waiting for Bafang official battery, that was fun but working with cells can be scary ! Maybe a 13s2p would be enough for my needs...

Nice build! Amazed by the weight as well, with a coil ! I really need to build me battery to replace the Bafang and have something lighter. I guess you don't have huge reinforced tires as well ? Regarding the battery, it would be great if you could share your 3D designs !

recommended fork is 150mm, many of us here have 160mm/170mm but I guess dual crown would really mess up the geometry. For coil no issue however, I'm running a DVO Jade and you can see Ohlins and others coils here. You can buy directly from LightCarbon, you can contact Jim at [email protected]...

Sorry that I cannot help more, my memory is very shitty :) Have you checked your connections ? I remember there were issues about the wrong cables. I think it was early in the thread

The battery is probably in « sleep » mode, is it a Bafang battery ? For instance, I have a light connected directly to the battery, and I can see that the light stays on for few minutes after the switch off, then I have to turn the bike on to switch on the light again.

Shenzhen Zhaosheng Carbon CEF50 lightweight using Bafang M820 motor (Specifications Thread)

My wife is running a small with 27.5 front and rear, the bike is a bit small, 29 or mullet would be good. But she’s an absolute beginner so a smaller bike is ok. I’ve installed a 150mm dropper but I think a 100 or 125 would be better

Very noisy, something probably broken inside. The motor did not allow the rear wheel to turn in reverse

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

After my issue with the m820, Bafang had accepted the warranty and requested that I sent back the motor in Poland, which is great ! This is good news for everyone in EU that Bafang is accepting local warranty while bought in China !
