As for Racer armour with CE2 upgrades I had 4 offs in the same day (Stainburn being way above my level, but not willing!) and had no damage luckily....probably had 20 near offs so I’m happy with my ‘save’ ration! ?
I had so send the Ion pads back, I had XL and couldnt get the zip up but my calves are same size as lower thigh which makes it hard to find decent fitting pads. I’m having a really tough time keeping my Forcefield pads in position too, they tend to slip off my knee a lot so might check there...

Cheers, good to know. There are a few here who have spent a pretty penny so perhaps I’m less chap than those to warrant the spend or.....
I’ve not actually bought one yet, my hunchy theme here so far has been steering towards <£100 since my poxy 500 lumen lamp was doing alright tbh and that...
lol.....(don’t you just love folk who lol, I bet Gary has never ‘lol’d! ?)
I subscribed to that £24 Magzter (groupon) deal and was reading a quality article where a bunch of chaps hit 5 bike parks in 24hrs, they were given a sponsored light some 6k lumens and said it was needed; I guess this is...
Went to swinty moor and Stainburn today, the komoot performed really well, couple times it lagged or lost its orientation but that might be might be my iPhone 7 more than anything!
TF has navigation? I’ve somehow missed this, be perfect if so for now.....
I tried Garmin edge....was crap, laggy didn’t want to respond to users path choices, bit like the first ever Tom Tom, I turned it off in the end, anyone else had better experiences?
If TF has nav why the need for...
Yeah but my gore are also overs (in my mind) and there fine as they stretch upto 35 inch but since these don’t its more a 36+ really, they must be sized to have multiple layers but I’ll be interested in knowing what fills 2+ inches up. The jackets too big too, same rule....very good quality...
Mine turned up just now, it’s all little too big you need to size down I think to get the right fit
My gore is L upto 35.5 inch the RAF is 34....I mean....
£110 great though? I mean if you could return them do you think you might stick with the surplus stock instead? I wasn’t planning on keeping it all as the gore is so thin. With you already damaged one pair for example I’m not sure it’s ideal for mtb
interesting why Komoot wouldn’t already incorporate TF.....I’d literally buy premium if they did or if they didn’t force £60 yearly instead of monthly, I’ve bought TF gold, what Is enable routing?
in the end which tool do you use most for nav?
Open street maps? Is this an app? Trail forks looks quite good in England but the easiest interface for finding trails seems to be AllTrails, Komoot would also be my navigation of choice instead of the Garmin just because it seems to lose a lot of data regarding trail types, not a deal breaker...
Couple of little reviews here.....winner only costs £359 here like Best mountain bike lights: find your flow in the darkness - MBR

Saw the camo ones but was unsure about the zips...they goretex too?
I was thinking of buying some polycotton shorts too, some super versatile options out there for around £20-30
Funny as you’ve done the same as me, bought the £110 gone hmmm that will rip then bought cheaper ones ?
do you have...
