I should say, given the recent update of the analogue Alpine 6, I’d like to see an update to the 6E too. Hopefully the BT-E8035 battery can also be incorporated. Orange will have had sight if the new battery after all - they’re one of the few companies to use the 8020 battery.
I guess that spare main battery would be very useful to have in the pack then.
I think the system can now be configured to ring fence Di2 capacity now.
Is Di2 otherwise good?
I’m really hoping that too.
That’s good to hear @SiDobsFig, I’m comparing with the Levo. I liked the Levo a lot on my extended demo in the hills. Just waiting for the Orange now but on paper I think I might like it. Of course paper means very little and I want to get my hands on one!
This is fascinating. No doubt some might be cynical, and I admit I was slightly too, but it looks like there might be something to be gained here that’s e-Bike specific.
Keep it coming Tim!
Not all countries in the UK are the same. Scotland is setting itself apart:
The new Scottish Mountain Bike Strategy covers everything from bike parks to buses
Looks promising, if a little weighty. Packs a lot of power and feeds into the heavy-but-punchy vs. Light-but-feels-like-analogue discussion.

Very interesting. The Propain is probably made by one of these kinds of companies (like Apro etc) in China/Taiwan. Specialized are no different, the Levo is Taiwanese after all.
These guys think it’s new too Rob ?

Looks quite neat in that downtube.
Actually, it’s not impossible this leads to a new standard (like the external) of fully internal Shimano batteries if it’s as neat as the Specialized. That then would be just as ‘future proof’, however in reality none of this stuff is even remotely what you’d term future proof ?
