Yeah no. Number one, I wear a small pack. So, it wouldn’t fit. And number two, there’s no way I’m putting something like that in my pack to be landed on in a fall. I already broke 5 ribs from landing on my side with my arm under me.
Would there be a way to adapt a second 360w main battery to plug into the charging port and put it on the down tube. That would be 720w of battery. That would be amazing.
Are there any companies out there that make aftermarket range extenders? I love my Trek EXe. I’m starting to do longer rides. Their range extender is only a 160. A 250 would be perfect. If no one makes them, some company should start doing that. I think it could be a great business to be in.
Right now the big bike companies, and probably the small ones too, are completely manipulating the market. I won’t go into details, because my family owns a bike shop. But yeah, it’s happening. Things aren’t exactly how they are being portrayed in the bike industry.
Perhaps trail running might be a better sport for you. Wear a pair of trail shoes till they have holes in them and no one wants them. Then buy a new pair and repeat. 🤣
What do you mean what’s going on. It’s called survival of the fittest. Just like any other industry. The shit gets flushed down the toilet and new companies emerge. It’s a constant cycle. Again, same as any other industry.
^ With a 180 mm dropper and a 65 mm stroke shock, you rear tire is probably going to hit your saddle at bottom out. I have a 62.5 mm shock and a 150mm dropper and I have about 5 mm of clearance at full bottom out. If I ever get my nut sack caught down in there, it’s going to be a mess!
