Fuck me, where's the other half of you? I think you need less waterproof clothing. You've clearly shrunk in the rain since last time I saw ya. [emoji16]
Has anyone else had our heard of this issue?
First I noticed if I spun the cranks backwards it would spin the chain back. I was lubing the chain at the time so I thought it was handy [emoji16]
Now this.... When I stop pedalling the chain ring keeps spinning, so it doesn't free wheel. Go over...
Depends how active a rider you are. For me, yes it makes a big difference. Taking 15% off the levo made a noticeable difference. Now on the SL which is some 25% lighter still makes a huge difference!
If you just sit down and spin everywhere I'd say no.
I took the chain guide off my levo. Kept the same drivetrain for 3000kms and nearly 2 years and never dropped a chain.
I don't think you've had any replies because it looks like one massive sentence. I switched off reading it. Try condensing in and breaking it up [emoji6]
I ran no guide and used the drivetrain for 20 months, not changing a thing and never dropped a chain. Unless you ride proper gnarly it's just belt n braces. I removed the guide from my new SL straight away.
My chain guide is removed. Dunno about the boost thing. The chain ring was straight, no offset. Neither was the 32t burgtec that replaced it. That was also tight.
You're brave! I just put on a 34T and the teeth are that close to the frame, I doubt you could fit a rizla between the chain ring and frame. Too risky for me.
