Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

Need some help please folks. I need the chainring spider, which comes on the SRAM drivetrain-equipped bikes, but can not find it for love nor money. I thought it was the FSA W0108, but the interface looks completely different to that which came off my bike. Please help!!!

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

Standard ISIS fit, so any ISIS cranks will be fine. The only consideration is Q factor, but I've never been bothered by that, though seem people seem hell-bent on a given number!

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

You can find connectors, to join the hoses, or use a routing kit, such as Ice Tools or Park Tool, either of which make the job substantially less painful!

HI, I'm Graham from the Uk 🇬🇧

Try as many as you can before buying. There is such a huge variety out there now, even within some individual manufacturers own ranges but especially when looking at the bigger picture, that you need to ride as many as you can. Easier said than done, with some of the more persistent availability...

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe - Trying to understand range and altitude possibilities

How are people finding the range over time? I'm sure I read, on the megathread somewhere, that people were finding range improved over a few rides? I have two rides now, both almost identical (28kms/965m with 2% remaining, 27kms/955m 11%), but I thought I'd be doing better for range than I am...

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

There's an internal channel that runs it from the BB to the head tube, so as long as you thread the hose from back to front, it should take less than 30 seconds. Try it the other way round though, and that's where you could hit a snag, as the internal channel isn't as easy to access that way around!

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

It's just an option, if I get the 29" rear wheel causing problems. I don't want to mullet this bike, but ride a lot of steep tech, with rocky drops and such, so reducing rear travel could reduce instances where the rear wheel hits my ass, if that does in fact turn out to be an issue. Plus, I...

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

I'm really interested in this bit of the conversation. I'm 5'6" and my last 3 bikes have been mullets, though all bar one have had more travel than my Fuel EXe. I've still yet to ride my new bike (literally sat here now, with it in the living room, waiting for it to warm up enough to get the...
