There is an option to keep the screen on in Mission Control (Display Always Active) and Strava (Always On). They work flawlessly even with my 30 sec display lock setting in iPhone (which is grayed out).
The forum software seems to think these two trunks still grow vertically. Nope, they were in the middle of the trail I was riding in the Sipoonkorpi National Park. I was happy to have SL instead of something heavier.
I’ve compared Apple Watch with my Suunto Spartan and the calories are consistently pretty close. When I do high-intensity training (like basketball) I burn about 800 calories per hour. I’m sure I burnt easily half of that today while biking...was so happy I have SL when I had to carry the bike...

Is there a possibility for an option to keep the screen undimmed and unlocked during the ride?
I have company email on the phone which enforces 30 sec screen lock which makes it difficult...
Sure a distinct sound is better. The main thought was that the sound is repeated periodically as long as the HR is above the zone limit, not only when you cross the zone limit.
AFAIK it is otherwise identical. The locking is tight, I see this could be beneficial if the battery moves up&down in the cage there is no pull on the connector. The potential negative side is that the cord could put some pressure on the cover if the battery moves.
