    Using two tubes .

I just go tubeless. I rarely get a puncture and if I do the sealant fixes it 99% of the time and if it doesn't a plug usually does.

    Using two tubes .

I was generally interested to see how the two tubes fitted in the tyre. Do they sit side by side, on one top of the other or do they spiral around in some kind of DNA like shape?

    Using two tubes .

@ari I think this will settle a few sceptics if you can do this... A photo of your rim with two holes in it and a photo of the tyre showing the two tubes inside. I will make your case a lot more plausible.

Creaking/clicking on cranking reasonably hard. NOT the motor!

My Levo SL has developed a creak the past couple of rides. I thought it was the headset so I regreased and retensioned that but it's still there. I'll have to go through the cranks and motor bolts next but I didn't think of the axle, so I'll do that too.

Have you tried the "Disco Inferno"?

How muck oil is he putting on his chain! Does he have a big drum of it and just dunks the rear of the bike into it?🤣

Is falling off a new emtb always going to happen?

That is if you have ridden only one type of bike for a long time (like for years) and then ride something totally different. If you regularly ride both there's no real getting used time needed. I had an XC bike for many years and then bought an Enduro bike and it took a few rides to get the feel...

    Is Orbea customer service horrible

I'd recommend buying from a brand that has a local dealer that you can personally visit if you have any issues. Direct to consumer can be risky but depends on where you live.

Is falling off a new emtb always going to happen?

I've never really crashed on my Ebike any more than I would on my normal MTB. It may be more to the difference in geometry of your old bike to the new one. I know coming from an XC bike to an Enduro bike (and vice versa) can take some getting used to. You get used to it though, just need to take...

    Difficult tyre pumping

Another tip is to always have your valve at the top when letting air out or inflating to reduce chance of sealant entering the valve.

Air pressure for e bikes on slabs rolls and chunk?

If running the same tyres, you would only need to go a couple of PSI more. I run the same in my SL but the weight it a bit closer to my normal bike.

Hard mode emtb past speed limit

A hard mode? Do you just mean the speed cut or when rolling down hill? All legal pedal assist Ebikes have a speed cut that kicks in at a certain speed depending on the country and that does feel like a big drag when you hit it. If you meant when riding down hill, unless you are having to...

Hi guys and thanks Rob!!!! I’ve lost the bolt and wast off the linkage on the seat tube. Can I buy these?

Yes, there's a lot of different bikes out there and they all have different bolts. I would suggest finding a bike shop that sells the brand of bike you have. They should be able to sort you out, although sometimes you have to buy a bolt kit and not just a single bolt. I assume that when you say...

Looking for an XC bike is Levo overkill

He is riding a gravel bike and only fire trails. It depends on what downhill means. Downhill as in a downhill race type course or downhill, down a fire trails that he rides on a gravel bike.

Looking for an XC bike is Levo overkill

Have you thought of any of the light weight Ebikes with a range extender? I don't think anyone makes an Electric XC bike as the benefit of an XC bike is that it climbs well due to light weight and short travel suspension. A motor kind of removes the restriction for climbing so you can have...

    emtb longevity?

That's a kind of wasteful way of thinking. Just throw you bike in the garbage every 5 years. You often don't have to buy a whole new motor, most can be rebuilt and spending $1k on a battery is still way cheaper than $5k to $6k.

Comment by 'Streddaz' in article 'Can the Bosch Performance SX 55 Nm compete with full-power motors?'

Well, in an EDR race everyone is at a high level of fitness so having the most powerful bike matters. If you are just social riding with friends being first to the top isn't such of an issue, so if you have reasonable fitness, riding a SL with other full powered bikes isn't big deal. How do you...

Comment by 'Streddaz' in article 'Can the Bosch Performance SX 55 Nm compete with full-power motors?'

The whole point of a SL bike is for a rider that has a good physical fitness can have some extra assistance without the extra weight of a full powered bike. The test did clearly states the extra effort that the rider had to provide to match the full powered bikes. I think too much emphasis is...
