I have a rail 9.8 an Orbea fs team aqmf and the 22 levo pro. Great minds think alike. Recently had the Orbea rebuilt new bearings brakes drive train and suspension. The shop sent the Fox suspenders to Fox a move I highly recommend. Well the 36's were bent $600 to repair or...

First AXS my dropper is the best I've ever owned by some margin, however the derailleur is still upwards of $700 USD, I break one derailleur per bike per year, I just send the Shimano derailleur back no note no RMA they send a new derailleur back last one took 3 months.
I own...

Maxxis Assegai front and rear 2.5; expensive, wears out quickly, and so sticky like a "bully at the beach" they kick sand in your face.
In all seriousness they are the best tire's I've ever ridden, oh yeah they're heavy but at 52 pounds of bike?

2022 Turbo Levo Pro
Around 600 miles for the first failure, "the bearing man" has me convinced that it was the sprague clutch and not the belt. Riding up hill in the appropriate gear and lost drive, the bike would not roll backwards "locked-up", I believe that if the belt had...

Let's see $13,000 for the ebike....oh yeah now I remember I replace the chain and cassette when they're worn out, yeah that's ticket

Really strong cassette and chain......broke 7 derailleur's (seven) the jump between 3 and 4 is huge, EX1 is an utter POS oh sorry let me translate Piece of Shit. You notice that new bikes we're coming with EX1 for one maybe two season's, from some daft...

My 22 ate a motor in 600 miles.
However; I love an electric display that's claiming no battery, is that oxymoronic?
Probably a power cable or powered connection?

Broke rib last week hitting the handlebars on my way over. I have a bad habit of not letting go of the grips and pulling the bike up and over, and landing on top of me? The crash was at 13 mph pretty fast hit an unseen six inch log panic grabbed the brakes causing the bike to...

I hope you listen?
Put it in a box and send it to Shimano they'll send back a new derailleur. I don't include a note, I don't fill out the online warranty request, "nothing" except a return address.
I've gotten 4 four brand new derailleur's this way. I'm so impatient I...

My 2022 Pro (very low mileage) started over running too. This is a familiar symptom with Specialized, I'm sure someone can source it. Just guessing but, seems more likely software than mechanical, but this bike has both problems, of course over running is still running and dead...

Hello Mike
You pedal the motor spins up and there's no assistance. It's the fifth failure happened on the 2019 (4 failures) and 2022 first failure. No warning, just started free wheeling.
Perhaps your g out noise is the tire hitting the frame?

Thank you so much I'm a contractor and former motorcycle mechanic and can actually understand what you described. One more symptom, that is the motor runs when I pedal, just no assistance, that's why I thought belt failure, clearly what you have diagnosed makes sense if the...

Take heart Specialized is a fantastic company that stands behind their bikes. This is good news about a serious problem, if your bike breaks they will fix it, unfortunately it does not appear that the purported "improved belts or clutches" are that improved.

Thanks Bearing Man
I'm very carful to not power through the gears under load, can't stand the noise of the spokes being rung by chain tensions.
Do Bosch and Shimano motors use gear drives instead of a belt drive, if so does that mean an inherent design flaw? Another question...
Hello Zimm
Yes back to shop for motor replacement. I've had 5 Brose motor failures now and the symptoms are exactly the same. It feels like the belt is skipping across the splines, like going across corduroy. I assume it's the belt but we're unable to see inside to verify. I will at same...
