Oh that’s an interesting one, I hear good things about Zeb, I recall @Rob Rides EMTB preferring Zeb to Fox.....
I wasn’t really planning on changing the fork right away as it seems to get rave reviews unlike the fox shock, maybe just add an air shaft but then I worry about losing that little...
So yesterday I saw this on a Kenevo SL advert and the more I looked into the bike the more I loved other than the poxy motor ofc:
‘The Turbo Kenevo Super Light geometry can be fine-tuned for wherever and however you ride. Six distinct geometry settings allow easy adjustment to hone performance...

I take it your saying 65.5 is best for XC and park/Dh better around 64 kind of thing? Be nice if there would be an easy way to adjust the geo depending in the day
Since we have a bunch of racer pro gents in here, does anyone know of a lightweight durable tyre that doesn’t need inserts, like does such a thing exist? DHR2 didn’t last in two mins in the real world!!
Fork

ERA / 2280 g
Shock
? / 423 g
Storia v3 / 752 g (205 mm trunnion mount with 500 lbs coil)

Maxxis DHF x 2 / 2000g
Magic Mary 2.6 x 29 & Big Betty 2.4 x 29 / 2700g
Total…700g
So by this logic I should put some DHF on and buy the Coil suspension? ?
Id never buy a shock for 1k but abit of swapping for a few quid is appealing.
But alas, I have to agree with @apac and others about the value of testing air out first (@Zimmerframe has also ordered me more than once ?), be good experience and I do need to consider weight on what’s essentially a...
Defo agree only the top racers need a tune but end of the day I can sell my old DPX2 and get an EXT Storia v3 which is higher build quality, better performance, bottomless feel, nice aesthetics, 2 springs for £450 vs that of a DHX2 which you have to wonder why Orbea doesn’t offer on their Rises...
its sound advice and your almost like a crystal ball for me! There’s a lot to learn and work out and with my bike ready in the shop I’m frantically trying to understand suspension over night to make the right decision. Tyres....phffff I’ll check again but actual weight of my bad boys are...
I was just thinking about this and don’t really have a clue about electronics! But if there’s a pass through function on the bluetti or the ecoflow then how could we charge the powerbank whilst driving? Just put an invertor in the car and plug the device in, but ofc the device is an inverter...
Anyone here with a suspension fetish had opportunity to compare something like a fox 36 grip 2 with smashpot vs ERA? Be nice to know if a coil upgrade is decent and if so why would people spunk £1500 on a fork if they can upgrade?
Ive always loved the look of coils but when I found out it...
Do people coil the forks also? Seems sensible to have the same kind of systems running with one another doesnt it? Push prices as of next week are going upto £1450 for the shock and £400 for the acs3 kit….
If it wasn’t for the e13 crank issue there no way id be buying new for sake of 5mm….id just retrain myself exactly like the first time I was getting strikes when I started learning the first time, if others are doing fine then maybe it’s not just the cranks?
