My 1st dropper on my Rail had the same issues, I contacted my shop, sent them a photo of the dropper and they warrantied it. The new one has been fine so far.
My med arrived from Amazon in 2 days! I went the 7850 route with a pair of Leatt 3DF 6.0 elbow guards.
Super pleased with the 7850 fit and the level of protection that wraps completely around your torso. Looks like i'll have to make a small adjustment to the belly pad for comfort when...
I ordered an Alpinestars Sequence vest, size med but I returned it. The elbow pads were slightly loose and i felt they would just slide around. Plus it weighed over 3lbs. So I just ordered a med 7850 vest. I'll report back on fit as well. I have a 37" chest. Also ordered a set of Leatt...
@Zimmerframe , I'm looking to purchase a TLD 7850 vest. Size wise the TLD chart has me squarely in a Med (37" chest) but I don't want this vest to be floppy at all. I would prefer a tight fit. What size do you wear and what is your chest measurement? I plan on wearing an under armor...
I've spent a couple months on my Rail 7 now. Its a solid package but needs a bit of help to get it dialed. Watch the front chainring, the cheap locking ring loosens up periodically and the dropper is a POS. Add a Meg Neg and 2.1 Charger damper, XT shifter and tougher tires/inserts and this...
I did the same thing but with unfortunate results. The air can will hit on the downtube after a hard bottom out. Its just a slight hit but it will dent the downtube.
If SC released this bike 2 years ago, it would have made some waves. IMO they missed the boat with 27.5 wheels and dated motor/battery combo. Hell, my 2019 Tazer tics more boxes than this new sled. SC, I suggest you go back to the drawing board and try again.
I did the Lyrik upgrade and it was a huge improvement. I also went with a 29er front wheel. Do both, you'll thank me later. BTW, my Tazer has a Fox EMTB 36 w Grip2 damper and its a beautiful fork but the Lyrik upgrade is the best bang for your buck.
Try a Trek Rail. I've spent a month on one so far and its a better overall package than my 2019 Intense Tazer. Fit and finish are top notch and a great handling package.
I can't believe they awarded the win to that Qulbix rider. His bike was clearly much faster than the rest of the pack. The way that guy was pedaling, he would have been lapped on a legal bike. What a joke. I've never watched such a pathetic race...
Here's my 29/27.5 Powerfly. I'm running a 160mm Lyrik /2.5" DHF out front with the stock 150mm out back. This setup is so much better than stock its like riding a trail bike vs a full blown enduro rig. I've done several races so far and this setup holds its own against the best mullet bikes...
