No need to be nervous, as of now, the new app works great and has all but one features of the old one. At least for my taste. Only thing missing is this mode (which name I don't remember) where you could set a min. and max. heart rate and the bike would automatically alter the assistance to keep...
Yup, one of the reasons I still stick to the old App. I'll wait till the new App is capable of everything I need an switch then. I tried it and didn't like it. So probably I'm going to use Mission Control until they turn it off.
Tried it lately, worked pretty well for a brand new app, but when I set the screen settings for the Mastermind, it wouldn't transfer them to my Levo, so I went back to Mission Control for now. MC will be on the market until end of the year I heard, so they will have plenty of time to fix the new...
The look of the factory parts is just 🤤 but I also really like the carbon wheels, better brakes and the look of the matte redwood colour. Like I said, if I would be in the market for a Levo today, I'd go for a mustard Expert.
Last year the Pro was right at my sweetspot, today I probably would go for a mustard Expert and upgrade the suspension, just because I don't like the colour of the 2023 Pro.
Guess with the tiny axles and weak frames back then it wouldn't have worked properly. But that's just a guess. There should be a reason this took more than 50 years to hit the market.
Currently riding an X01 Eagle without AXS as my new bike came with it and just have around 200mls on it. The new Eagle Transmission looks very promissing but at a very high pricepoint. Might look into the new one in X0 config as soon as my cassette is worn out. Hopefully prices drop a little...
This seems to be true, for the European market, Spesh introduced the Status this year, probably to offer good entry level bikes, then there was a sale for the Levo S-Works at 12.000 instead of 15.000 Euros and the '23 Levo S-Works is priced at an MSRP of "just" 13.500 Euros, so exactly 10%...
Stock wheels are not the best, especially the hubs. It gets better from the Pro version and above, the Carbon rims are matched with DT Swiss hubs which are quite good actually. I have zero complaints until now with the rims or hubs on my Pro. One of the many reasons I went for it were the weels...
True, one would think that a specialized brand like Specialized *lol* would have clear communications and public relations SOPs or at least some guidlines.
There might be something coming for the Pro, since today or yesterday, the outgoing S-Works and the Pro are for sale on European Specialized websites, the Pro is down from 12.500 to 10.000 Euros in all sizes - time to adress my LBS.
But no new Pro on the sites so far and they also removed the...
Make sure you have the Mission Control App on your phone, get the bike shop to have it ready for you with a charged battery and tires set up tubeless (for free - at least my LBS did that for me). If it's your first Levo, do a base suspension setup when you pick it up at your LBS, they also might...
