plus 1 for this option! Mine is mounted just like this picture + it comes with all the tools you can use: allens, torx bits, chain break, storage for chain link and I also store tire plugs in it as well.
It all depends on where you ride and how aggressive you are. If you ride on XC trails, you should be fine! But if you ride rocky trails, switch them back over.
Both are good bikes! You being a big boy, battery consumption is going to be an issue. Trek has 630wh battery and Levo 700wh. Not that big of a difference, but I’d go with the 700wh batt.
I have a 2021 Levo and I'm on my 2nd motor. My 1st motor did not have the latest software, apparently it came out about a week after I bought my bike. Hopefully this one will last a few years!
Just an update to my motor being super noisy, grinding type sound! Other than the noise, my motor worked perfectly and my LBS let me keep riding until the new motor came in. As you can see I started the process Sept. 23, 2020 and got word the new motor arrived to Temecula, CA Oct. 26, 2020. So a...
I have a 2021 Levo and blevo works perfect. in the settings, just choose GPS for speed and Blevo will do everything you asked for and more. I use it with my iPhone 11 which when I bought it, I got the insurance with it as well.
My 2021 Levo motor started making a super loud whirling type noise when ever the motor was on. In OFF position, no whirling noise while pedaling. LBS diag it as an internal concern from the motor and has placed an order for a new motor.
I think it’s a late 2019 motor, which seems strange for a...
My 2021 bolt got all bent. I replaced it before it broke. I noticed the old bolt I would have retorque it about every 2 rides, if not the bolt would be loose.
My daughter went to Humboldt University. Every time I picked her up or dropped her off, I made sure to bring my bike! Amazing trail system there! All the times I went, it was never above 75degrees.
I ride everyday to here in SoCal. Just leave no later than 8am and you’ll be fine. My rides typically start between 6 -7am and the heat is a no issue.
Unfortunately, I had an early appointment this morning, so getting ready right now to go for a quick ride 100 degrees out, so just cruising.
Are you talking about when you stop pedaling and it still continues for maybe .5secs? Mine does that and so did my other ebike a Shimano motor, but this Brose seems to do it slightly longer time as I never felt the extra run on with the Shimano motor.
I bought a 2021 Specialized comp Turbo Levo knowing that the motor belts in the past have had some issues. I’ve seen posts claiming Specialized has updated their software and increased the actual belt durability! And now offer a 4yr warranty. Its really tough to beat the 700wh battery and this...
Because of the one way clutch attached to the crank arms, the cranks just freewheel independently of the front chainring. The only way to get the motor to go backwards would be to roll the bike backwards or jam something in the front chainring to the crank arms. Again, I bet it’s not good for...
You picked 2 totally different bike and it all depends on what you want out of an ebike. If you ride by yourself or other normal bikes, the Levo SL is a great bike.
If you plan on riding with other normal ebikes, you get blown away on the climbs.
A regular ebike is just as fast as a regular...
