@kla456 You don´t have to do anything once it´s set to suit your particular preference before a ride. There are quite a few options for shift settings. Then you have two auto options, that can be selected on the shifter remote, They can be set differently eg one for road and one for trails. You...
The Cfr is 12 speed so no autoshift i´m afraid. Just freeshift. Not disappointed at all, what I wanted was not available to buy so I built what I wanted. It will continue to evolve with components that i like
I have the system on my 2023 Canyon Spectral:On. It took a little time to source all the parts and I had a local Shimano specialist set it up. Think it was the first one for Shimano Spain. Have done around 900km so far with zero problems. I leave the bike in auto mostly. Going to the trails (on...
So, a longer ride today. Just over 60km and around 1400mtr of climbing with a good mix of terrain. Firstly I forgot my shock pump, so had to ride without any adjustments. It´s definitely more plush but I think i need to drop the air pressure a little. The fork sits nice and high in it´s travel...
Not managed a ride today sadly. Personally for your weight I would initially remove some tokens and reset the sag. If it’s no better maybe try a TrueTune.
I would also have a chat with one of the Uk suspension specialists. Maybe a change of shim stack would be required to better suit your...
It´s a little shorter Tbf. The tokens/inserts make the fork more progressive as it moves through it´s travel increasing the ramp up (it gets more resistant to bottom out the further it goes into its travel)
You need more psi because the tokens the reduce air volume. I have increased the volume. More air pressure equals a harder less supple fork that sits higher in it´s travel. I wanted a more supple fork.
See here - Bottomless Tokens are volume spacers, designed to reduce air volume in the air...
I swapped from Assegai Dh2 combo. I live in Andalusia, very dry and rocky here too. Found the front Assegai vague on turn in and wanted a stronger casing than standard.
Went with WTB Verdict/Judge combo in Tcs tough high grip. Superb tyres very grippy and zero problems handling wise. They were...
So, first shakedown ride with the TrueTune. Very easy to install. Removed the three standard tokens and upped the air pressure 10% as recommended.as a starting point . From 72.5 to 80psi. Very noticeable difference initially. That may be because of removing the tokens, seems to have good support...
I have a 2023 Spectral:On and thought I’d share a mod I just added.
You can buy the low speed compression adjuster thus turning the shock into the factory version minus Kashima. Takes around 15 minutes ( it is a little tricky) The cost around £30
Not set it up or tried it yet, need to get my...
Seems odd that TF didn’t offer to swop the complete damper cartridge. I have a Pike in another bike that had the transfer port full of grease from the factory and this would lockdown when removing air from the fork. I do all my own servicing and it’s a relatively simple job. I added a Luftkappe...
