I took just the battery into the shop to be done, the levo was in the car...& I was told I needed the battery on the bike to do a proper update as it could cause a problem...not saying it can’t be done off the bike just my experience of it

Just for the record it took about 10mins in total from plugging in the bike to walking out the shop to do the update that was battery & motor

I have spoken to a guy called Duncan from Specialized UK in the last week about firmware up-dates & he has told me no bike shop should be charging for firmware updates (UK). it may pay if everyone rings Specialized UK if there bike shop where they brought there levo or kenevo trys to charge...
