I'll take to LBS and see what they say. If I purchased a new car id not expect to accept it delivered finished bad and with a dent. I have to keep reminding myself that 9.5K for a bike is premium so we should expect the best.

I would take a visit to your local bikeshop and try some on as they differ quite a bit depending on the brand. I'm a midget but run medium or large pads due to my calves. I think in the past i've run pads on the tighter side, and they do get very uncomfortable if they are too small. Fox fit me well.
