Thanks. Bleeding process was apparently right but it's something wrong after popping up the piston. Lever is totally loosen. Lack of pressure. No idea how to fix it.
When I was cleaning the pistons before bleeding the brakes I made this but when I was trying to lubricate one of the sides of one piston I took it out too much while I was pulling the rear lever, then I noticed that it was oil coming from inside the piston... Then I cleaned it and bleeded the...
Pretty nice picture Rod and good explained. I have to check because I'm on holidays right now but I guess the bearing press that I have will work. The only piece I need is the pipe sleeve to allow the axle moves while I pull it. Perhaps I can buy something like this:
Not really Rod, I only washed it a couple of times. Here it's quite dry and there's no mud.. Perhaps dust came in and after 500-600 started this sound... But compared to other bikes I had, it started to sound so early. But for sure it's not a good design to prevent bearings be durable.
I bought...
Thanks for all the info Rod. Very useful! mostly the info about the penetrant oil and the idea of using a bearings puller, first I´ll get the oil asap and I hope it works...
The thing is my Rise has about 800km and never thought that it´d be require a bearings replacement so early...
Not sure...
Guys, sorry for not sharing a photo previous to mount it. I was able to disassemble arms but the axle was impossible, really tight even using a heater. Perhaps I could mount one of the arms and hit it at the end to try to loose the axle as you suggest.
Which is that penetrant oil @nello??
I'm not be able to loosen the upper axle 😭😭 I used a rubber mallet and hit it with a strength (not the most) in the left or right side but it was really impossible. Neither using the mallet nor using one arm to loosen it or applying heat. Anybody used the preload tool to loosen it?
Bearings...
The thing is that I got a 548lbs spring (calculated from tftuned) and the feeling was quite good but I checked that the rubber went to end most of the time and perhaps I'd get bottom out often so I bought one spring heavier because of that..
I fixed (temporarily) it moving the wire close to the on/off button. I think it's the EW-SS301 wire??
Not sure if it's the only wire that goes from the motor to the sensor but I'd need to buy one just in case it'll happen again.. Anybody know where could I buy one?
App throws w101 error because there's no speed signal. Sensor magnet and speed sensor are correct and in its place... It seems it's related to the wire from the motor to the sensor...
Any help? Did it happen to anybody? Bike has only 3 months and less than 300kms..
it goes to Ohlins ttx 22m owners mounted on an orbea rise, which settings do You use (weight, spring lbs, sag, HLR)??
Mine is 90kg,604lbs, 25%, 1h 2L 2R
(clockwise is 0)
From internet:
Really I don't understand the rise progressiveness... I know some guys with the storia ext and 450 spring with 85kg...548lbs is less than I need using ohlins ttx... Numbers of this table..
