Today had my first ride L1NL32 with HBO in my local bike park today. Highspeed rough trails with roots and rocks and flowy jump lines. I'm really impressed. I noticed a real difference between the stock Fox float X on high-speed chatters, and how confident I feel on landings.
I'm 80kg, I...
Thanks, got it. I've ordered one with hbo. Will write my experience.
Stock's fox shock is dying, clicking and loosing air. I dont have complains about it other then reliability. Will send it by warranty, but don't want to wait.
Hey guys, how do I know if there is HBO or not? Just checked the local dealer and there is no pyramid sign on the shaft. RS-SDLX-ULT-C1. 12T32099493 00.4118.358.004
Really confused, at the RockShox website there is no word about the sdlx-ult shocks without HBO, but all pictures about HBO show...
Had a similar issue today on Turbo Levo - a branch blocked the derailleur. The result is a broken derailleur cage and bent UDH hunger. The hunger rotated for about 30 degrees and was stopped by a limiter on the frame. The frame is not damaged. That's how it is supposed to work!
I did that mistake. Rented old Rail in a bike park, tested it, found it good and bought a new 9.8xt. But the new Rail rides different.
You don't consider the old generation? I think that is really bang for buck.
Thanks. Do all Brose motors (specialized and others) have the same motor spindle length? Just wonder if I see for example cranks e*spec specs 184mm q-factor for Brose motor, does it means that it will be the same 184mm for the Levo?
I have managed to bend a right crank on my Turbo Levo. Straighten it with a hummer. But looking to replace it as I'm afraid that the strength of the aluminium is reduced.
Found out that I can't buy the original praxis crank. There is an option for Praxis aluminium crank with the standard...
I tried a 27.5 rear wheel on Rail and haven't noticed any improvement.
I think this cumbersome feeling is more about the weight distribution and the battery weight. Interestingly, the 750w Rail battery weighs 4.9kg, whereas the Levos 700w is just 3.8kg and it's located lower in the frame.
I...
The loose battery can be fixed, but motor clunking is characteristic of the motor. There is a video from Rob where he compares noise from different bikes.
Also if you had a chance to ride Levo, compared to the Levo, the Rail climbs better. On downhills, Levo feels lively and fun whereas the...
Got this sequence from the spesh support, which fixed the issue for me:
Perform factory reset.
Deplete the battery to below 80%
Toggle on charge limit
Force close the Mission Control app
Open the app and enter the tune screen to check the settings
Then charge the bike and see what happens and...
Hey, @Crockej have you tried to do a factory reset? Press the + and - buttons for 45s and wait until the TCU will restart twice and you will see the "factory reset" screen. It didn't work for me.
Would be nice if you test this, so we can push the Spesh to address the problem.
By recommendation from Spesh support, I did a factory reset. No luck, it still ignores the charge limit setting. Will try to disable it, make a full charge and then enable it.
I wonder how the battery knows about the setting? Is there some internal memory?
Hey Aratheba, the clunking sound you hear on the video is not the battery. It's the Bosch motor clunking.
Regarding the battery, the Rail gen 3 750w has an issue with the battery alignment plate. It's too long, so the battery will be loose if you align it as from the manual. But you still can...
It worked from the beginning, but now it just ignores the setting and charges 100% every time. Firstly I thought that this is like "However, on every 10th charge your bike will charge to the full 100%" but 4 times in a row it charges to 100%.
