Hi Gary
Strangely enough the cranks are well suited for him, he is yet to have a pedal strike and likes the
more open leg stance on his Stance :geek:
Not a bad idea about the 26 wheels although they are becoming increasingly hard to come by here in South Africa, tyres included!
I am about to...
Hi Bissona
Time is short when we young enough and they still think you are a superhero!
Go for it mate.... I made Tom do some serious saving and sell some of his previous toys
including a PW50 motorbike before we would even think about getting an eBike.
Little did he know I had it stored...
Its amazing watching him hit some pretty serious terrain and our local Bike Parks!
The jumps he is now clearing make me shudder
The hardest part has been setting up the suspension/sag for his lightweight.
We have done over a 100km and close to 4000m of climbing since last Saturday...
Hi Lee
My son calls your bike the Hulk ;)
Congrats you going to love it!
His range is crazy, on a ride with 28km and 890m of climbing he used 20% of the battery
and he used Sport + (Turbo) mode for the whole ride!
BUT
He weighs only 26kg! The bike itself is 24Kg so almost "pound for pound"...
Hi All
Here are some pics of my 8.5 year old on his new Stance.... yip very lucky boy and a very proud Dad at how he can tear up the trails on it!
The bike has had a few mods, changed out the fork for a Reba 150mm, Front tyre to a Maxxis Ardent 2.6, 11/42 Rear cassette.
It has been a game...
Hi Guys
Thanks for the replies all... I have decided to go with the bulky Garmin Remote, its just easier.
Only problem is it is 3-4 weeks on back order here :cautious:
Thanks again for the replies (y)(y)(y)
Hi Guys
I have bought my wife a 2017 Levo Expert that did not come with the handlebar remote to change Eco/Trail/Turbo
Does anybody know what is the current best option available?
I Googled and came across the Garmin remote which seems no longer available and retro-fitting the original Spez...
A tyre update.......... I have replaced the Butcher on the rear (Tired of the constant punctures) with a 2.5 Minion DHF DD casing.
It hooks up beautifully on climbs and is a noticeable improvement through the rough stuff, also far cheaper here in South Africa than the 2.8 Butchers.
I will...
Im keen to try the SKF seals, I have them on order.
I fitted Shimano Saints........... they finally showed up.................now THESE are brakes!!!
The TRP's are great for the price but the Saints are on a whole other level.
That looks spectacular!
I would crap myself for Bears! I don't think you get Grizzlies there?
Here in South Africa sadly we cant ride in any of our National Parks that have the Big 5 (Lions/Buffalo/Elephant/Rhino/Leopard) for obvious reasons without an armed guide. But it does amaze me that you...
Hi Paul
I prefer the 29 front for all my riding now, I dont like the bouncy floaty feeling from the 27.5 fattie. The 29 wheel tracks better when it get really steep,
read full A-Line downhills and doesn't get caught up in bomb-holes like the 27.5.
I'm running the Spez Butcher 2.6 (Actually a...
Its great to see some other modded Levo's out there!
It looks like the Cane Creek is the go to rear shock...... I have just received my 550Lb spring, I will be fitting this evening to test tomorrow!
