They should work on the EST 520 and the 900. They may work on others that use the same battery. If anyone wants one he says he can do it for £20 in black, blue or red.
I was concerned that, when transporting the bikes without the battery (we do that for security and it makes the bikes lighter on the bike rack), the contact points are exposed to the rain. So, I asked my mate who has a 3D printer to make me some covers. These are the results and they look great.
It's coming from the motor. I'm not sure how that is related to the seat clamp/tube as it does it when it's on my bike stand (and therefore supported by the frame)

I got the cranks off. Anti clockwise does it and they just slide off with the threads. I got a cover off (not the sprocket side) and the creaking seems to be coming from the top of the motor. I loosened and tightened the screws but it made no difference. So, it's going into the shop.
I want to take the plastic shroud off from around the motor so I can have a look at why the motor is creaking. To do that, I need to remove the pedal cranks and the front sprocket. Are there any instructions or advice that anyone can give me? I have tools and I'm OK mechanically, but I don't...
I think the charger helps too. When it gets to 100%, it switches off (the light goes to green) and all the charging lights on the bike battery go out. So, it is not pushing power in all the time
I love the theory, but in practice:
I ride, get back, clean the bike (maybe), plug it in, go indoors. I trust the charging 'brick' to know what it's doing. Repeat the next day.
I have no idea when it will hit 80% and I'm not standing over it until 4 (out of 5) lights have gone blue and stopped...
As the title says. Is there anything I can do to try and eliminate it before I take it back to Decathlon? Everything seems to work fine apart from that.
Alan
Slight update. The sidestand on mine collapsed (it was a £9.99 one from Decathlon) because the red button flew off and it got all floppy. I've fitted a spare one I had, but I need to get something a bit more substantial.

We are different. I don't like skiing for that reason. You go down, then up and down again and again. I also get bored doing go-cart racing (same reason - and yes, I was reasonably good at it).
