Love my 145mm. Stiff and direct and not sure about you guys and gals but makes me feel like I'm on a smaller bike in the 2000's :D Finally.... no hitting the ground with the pedals!!! The cranks they replaced were physically bent due to so many hits on rocks. Amazing.
Highly reccomended...
Passing kidney stones is worse. You're lucky you did not break your neck or back. Damn pedal strikes. My worst accidents on an E-bike have all been due to pedal strikes. Get better soon.
Yes spot on! Amazing how much the characteristics of the ride changes. The slacker setting is way more fun. Sacrifice some front end stability but after trying both I prefer it. Makes the bike fun to ride!
Yes my mistake! The slacker setting is way more fun. Sacrifice some front end stability but after trying both I really prefer it. Makes the bike fun to ride!
Since I picked up my X1 about 1.5 yr ago its has been in the low setting and steeper head angle. I've enjoyed the ride so much but thought I'd swap it back to high using the flip chip to see how it goes - especially because of the on going rock hitting with pedals.
Today's ride felt kinda...
Welcome! Just take it easy out there. An e-bike can be a bit of a steep learning curve compared to a traditional bike. They sit super low too so be mindful of pedal strikes. Saying that! They are amazing and so much fun.
ENJOY!
Back in the days of UST tyre standard this was never an issue. Those were the days!
These days standard tyres with minimal side wall strength are used for tubeless and this is very common. My Maxis rear tyre needs sealant to stay inflated as the side wall weeps 24/7.
