I use the Draugenklaw on my fattie - all the way down to -30C or more. Down to about -15 I just use thin full finger summer type gloves. Below that temp I use Fox Ranger Fire gloves and they're more than warm enough for me.
Yes, as long as you have a heart rate monitor/sensor. Best to read the instructions for your Garmin on how to do it. There's a few steps to follow but it's not too difficult.
Good luck on that with Spec. Last year my Levo went through 5 batteries in 4 months. All they did was have my LBS put new batteries in it, never really helped with diagnosis, nor any thought of replacing electronics in it. Just keep putting batteries in it costing almost a week of down time each...
Only good to 0 degrees C according to the article. That's a huge limiting factor I would imagine.
Plus that article is nearing 7 years old? I would've thought by now there'd be alot more news about it if it was being actively researched/experimented with.
I would say no - you want something that will disperse water, not something that is "water resistant". It also says that it dries quickly leaving a film - do you want to have to "scrub" to remove the dried film to reapply?
Off the Bosch website "The contacts are provided with a coating which...
There's quite a few freight forwarders in the U.S that'll do that for you if that works. mymallbox.com is one that comes to mind.
They're located in Delaware so there won't be any state taxes to be paid.
I'd be happy to help but am in Canada so that'd add a layer of complexity and taxes :(
Here in Canada - try pogies for your hands. They look a bit goofy but WOW do they work. I can cycle at -10C and cooler with thin gloves on. Warmer temps than that and I can use my summer cycling gloves w/o fingers. They'll even keep your hands dry. Like these.
My LBS (who are absolutely fantastic) have attempted to diagnose with the help/advice of Specialized to no avail. This problem - it literally KILLS the battery. The bike doesn't even move and the battery is done. Plug the charger back in and get the second from the bottom LED on the battery...
No one seems to know - nothing ever shows in diagnostics. It never happens on a ride, only the day after charging. After the third battery I turn it on after charging to make sure if fires up. Go to turn it on for the next ride the next day and it's dead.
