Any chance the Lyric was a 170mm????
If not, is your Lyric a new 2021? If it's the same travel, then you might be experiencing the tweaked 2021 air piston. This tweak has the fork sit higher in it's travel from the get go. So, things could "feel" different.
A 2mm offset difference is...
The geo will change a bit, but not much. You probably won't notice much at all. If it's a RS Yari/Lyric you might notice a bit more if you use the 2021 170mm air piston upgrade. It makes the fork sit higher in the travel from the beginning. It's a worthy upgrade for $42 USD.
don't get the shimano 11-46. it has that 37-46 cog jump. it's too much of a jump. It makes you long for a 40 or 42 2nd biggest cog. SunRace makes A well spaced 11-46. When I wear out my SLX 11-46 from shimano, I'm going there.
bummer as I have an Iphone and a garmin 820, but a galaxy tablet. I will wait and see how this app progresses. I have a few buddies with old android phones. I might try one of those without cellular data as an alternative.
can you take a pic of the rear fender and how it far it goes down into the chainstay area?
What I'm interested in is keep the mud from being thrown into the frame linkage. I have something that kinda works, but not great. I'm looking to improve things
Also, what brand? it looks like...
An I the only one who thinks we should NOT wash our Decoys with running water (like a hose)?
I scrape off what I can with a plastic putty knife, let the rest dry, then use a stiff bristle brush, then a moist wipe.
I did something very similar to my Decoy. It changed my post-ride clean up from 30 min to 5 minutes. Getting all that crud that gets flung into the linkage was a pain.
I guess if you don't like a rear mud guard, you like to clean. :)
RE the RRP bolt on. I like that idea, but could not find where I was going to bolt anything to my RS Yari fork. Can you enlighten me about how they bolt on?
As for the mudguards doing little,
I agree they do little in their current position. I actually took a bigger mud guard made for the...
SRAM has always had issues with brakes. The sooner you get rid of them, the sooner you stop confidently.
Let's start with a few really bad ones.
The dreaded turkey gobble that spawned more threads than the must luxurious sheets.
The "new" hydro road disk brakes that had to be recalled.
Sure...
Oh screw the colors. I want your shock.
How is that DVO topaz 3???????????????
the tunability of that thing is amazing. Then, when it's time for service, you can do it yourself
I had a small issue with my base model. I think the part was arriving as I hit send on the email. Yeah, they are that helpful. Elliot and crew at YT USA are great. Can you imagine if cust service this good was the "norm"?
First, I had to manually download the videos to get them to run. Put them on Youtube and embed the link. It works way better.
Is that the stock shock? I thought the pro race came with a Fox X2. In the US they do. I'm not sure where you are located. The Fox Float in the video will likely...
The headset was just remounting the stem and making sure it was tight.
The battery cable was just attaching some high-density foam to the loop at the top near the headset.
Specialized has set the standard on data available, but what does shimano offer? I have a Garmin and I'd love to get some data besides the basic cadence, speed and such.
Any power data? Maybe an assist percentage?
I have a e7000 display on my Decoy. It works to tell me the power is on...
