Yes, that’s the place, they did have a couple of mondraker ebikes too, although at the moment shop was full of ski gear, but there are heaps of hire places in qtown. Might be a whole lot easier to hire than traveling with battery and bike.

Nice one, I’m sure it will be a fun and capable bike, I never compared specs on different bikes when I got my first mountain bike-( a 2019 etrance ) the grin is still on my face nearly 3 years on, just enjoy the new bike and have fun!.

I went to the mega store and bought a cheap large bbq cover and some bungy cords.

Safety Habit from using drone batteries, had a racing drones lipo battery ignite once luckily on concrete, they burn up ferociously.

I leave mine plugged in sitting in a metal oven dish after a big ride until I next use it, but also if it’s above 3/4 I’ll leave it in the bike for just grab and go stuff near home. Battery health and run time I find a little odd as I have a 500 size battery and the lights on the bike display...

Bell super air is cool enough in the heat here that I don’t bother removing the chin bar, and it has saved me eating a rock just last week!

Opening in Alexandra it was so awesome to see these guys riding with locals on our local tracks. They spend a month in central Otago, we’re so lucky with all the covid related stuff to see such an awesome event here!!.
