After going to the bike shop (now I’m finally allowed) tried out the bikes and got a 160TM in 18” (I’m still 178cm) reach feels good and I’m looking forward to riding it :)
The geometry is slightly different and the 140 looks more suited to more climbing. A bit of a silly question now I come to think of it as few i guess would of had the chance to compare the 140 to 160 (2020) to build a good opinion.
That's very interesting to hear, thank you for you comments
Coming to terms with the fact that I should wait, as much as I want one now, I really would be foolish not to try the sizes before I spend so much money. Just have to wait till the shops all open again.
Thanks for all your comments and if you are reading this thread for the first time please...
Thanks for everyone's reply so far, looking at the Cube website there is no size guide and the frame sizes for the 140 go from 18 then to 20 no 19? do you have a model before the 2020 one?
How tall are you guys and girls and what size frame do you have and what model, looking at getting the 140 TM for obvious reasons can't go in to a shop and try them out for size, I'm 180cm 70kg 83cm inside leg so right on the border of 18"-20" but thinking 20" maybe?
Hey I’ve seen lots of comments already on 160 vs 140 but does any have the 160 and do longer rides, if so how‘s the comfort, ever think you would have preferred the 140. Thanks in advanced
Maybe I am... thanks for taking your time to point it out... (no offence taken)
I think the comp is a good bike too but maybe not as suited to climbs, this was my main question, is the pro 29 €600 better in climbing
I've decided I'm going to purchase a YT Decoy for my first EMTB but am undecided between the comp and the 29 Pro. I haven't done any trail or enduro riding before but my price budget puts me with these two bikes. I live in the mountains in Austria so worry I will loose range quicker on the comp...
