Bike looks great! Same model and colour as mine. I got my pedals and mudguard in red to match the wheel graphics- looks good when you match them to the Ohlins spring, I must say.
Watch out for the chain slap- my bike was okay for a couple of rides, then I hit some cobbles going downhill at...
Just in case others read this and are looking at options- I have had the same dilemma recently.
I already have a Saris Bones 2 bike carrier that fits my car, but unlike my previous bike, my Kenevo obstructs the number plate and lights.
Because my company car is a new model and does not have...
Yeah- as mentioned above, I've long since put it down to bad luck- just found it odd to have two such failures after such a minor incident- but these things happen.
I'm already back on it and trying to break it again!!!
I think given the few parts you have replaced and the evidence of your...
I'm three weeks in on my new Kenevo and I think it gets better the more you ride it.
Grinning more now than on the weekend I received it!
Hope you continue to enjoy it.
I went up there about 4pm yesterday after I picked my bike up from Leisure lakes- Like you, I ride up through Norden/Bamford, sometimes go round Naden reservoir if I want the extra distance and do a couple of laps, sometimes throwing in a lap of Cragg as well. Love the descent back to rooley...
A 38Km hike up to Cragg quarry and back with my new 2019 Kenevo.
Made it up, around and back in 2 hrs 10 minutes and still had 55% of battery left when I got back.
Can't wait for an all day epic on this beaut.
I think there are a few posts on here regarding springs for the larger riders and at least one guy has had custom springs made.
I'm 5'8" and 80kg loaded up on the bike- the standard spring supplied with mine is right in the sweet spot for me- love it. Never had such confidence on a bike; it...
I love my Kenevo- had it 3 weeks and can't leave it alone.
The canyon does look a good bike and as you say, price point is a (tiny) bit easier to stomach.
Would be good to see a review if you do stick with the canyon. Either way, a new E-bike is going to put a grin on your face!
We're quite spoiled for choice oop North- Peak district on our doorstep, North Wales an hour away and the lake district just round the corner.
Will have to try Whinlatter sometime!
Hi Mark,
Good to hear from a fellow North Mancunian.
I'm up at Lee Quarry a few times a week and like you, I tend to do Degla and Gizzie quite a bit.
I've got a blue Kenevo- say hello if you spot me- I'll keep an eye out for you at the quarry.
Happy pedalling,
Jamie
I have a similar thing on my Kenevo. I'm 5'8" and opted for a medium.
I wouldn't say that it's too high for descents at it's lowest point; I can get around the back of the bike when it's fully down. When it's completely up, it's just slightly higher than optimum for full pedalling efficiency...
Apology accepted.
It will take me a few days to get over the devastating upset you've caused, but time is a healer- I'm sure I'll find it in my heart to forgive you one day!!!
PM'd you my address- look forward to receiving the shifter and spokes- I may need spares in the future. :p
Hope you enjoy your Focus half as much as I did mine.
Looks like you got a good deal on the bike and the Yari- let us know how it feels with the new fork on.
I think the brakes on the Kenevo will be my first proper upgrade- had mine three weeks and the rear need bleeding already. Also I'm not...
Does autocorrect work retrospectively after you've posted and made a mistake?? Must get me one of them! ;)
I edited my post a couple of hours after you edited yours when I realised that your edit made my subsequent post look completely out of context.
I found this re-writing of history to be...
