No unfortunately. I have resolved the click sound when pushing down on the bike though. It was the electrical cable from the controller. I took off the display and found that the controller cable was the culprit, so I pulled it tight and zip tied it to the other cables and that stopped it...
25 - 30% sag is generally best for most riders. Run closer to 30 if you’re more gravity oriented. If the fork is beating you up it probably isn’t the sag, unless you’re running a very high pressure resulting in sag at say 10%. It’s more likely your rebound setting is to slow. This will result...
Fair enough. Yeah, the time required to set up the 38 is not for everyone. First you “have to” do a damper service, then it took me weeks to dial it in. Anyways, your bike looks killer.
Yeah that’s a lot of money hanging off the back of a vehicle being crammed into a vessel. Yeah don’t even get me started on BCF, as I work for them 🤬. Good luck with your ride.
Pulling the battery will have no effect because once you pull the plug to disconnect from the bike the battery is completely disconnected from the bike. So pulling the battery or leaving it in the bike is identical as it is completely disconnected from the bike. Now I always recommend you pull...
Not strange, I’m 54 and have never ridden as fast. Granted a lot has to do with new tech and geo, but still gotta be some of my own skills right 😀. At your height and weight I would definitely recommend the Fox 38. Without question, you’re going to need a very stout fork. Like I said you...
My Levo Expert motor has a slight wine but nothing too loud. It was whisper quiet on my first ride, but at least it isn’t getting louder. I have over 800 km’s on the bike.
It’s always good to have options. Good riding no matter which trail system you choose. Enjoy. If you’re in the area you can always message me through this forum and I can show you around Benson if you want. No guarantees I’m available but it might work. Cheers.
When you purchase your new bike next year are you purchasing it complete or is it going to be a build? If you’re going to build it, then get the fork you really want now, then put it on the new bike Later. Otherwise find a decent second hand fork in the size and travel that suits your bike and...
I agree. Additionally, a lot of people don’t service thier suspension. I just bought a brand new levo that came with a fox 38 and it was terrible because of all the grease in the negative chamber. So just by doing a service and correcting the mistakes from the factory the fork has now...
Cumberland is really good but the black and double black trails are kinda all over the place and don’t flow the best IMO, but with trail forks app and an emtb it’s all good. Coombs (hammer fest) has much better flow but more of a beginner trail system for the most part. If you’re coming from...
Besides whistler I’ve never ridden in the Vancouver area. I know there are some great areas there for sure. Yeah Nanaimo has some very good trails as well. It’s so much fun on the emtb now.
Lol I live just off Jingle Pot. No I don’t believe so. Hammer fest is close but it’s always been there. Mount Benson has developed quite a bit and is really good. As well as Westwood Lake Trail system.
Well there is a lot of assembly issues these days, just look at Fox products. Anyways that’s great they found the issue. Nobody likes annoying noises on their expensive new bike.
Do you use a pressure washer or strong pressure from a hose to wash your bike? I found on my last bike that from washing with a house I damaged the pivot bearings. Now I never spray directly on any bearings. I’ve pulled the dust caps off my pivot and wheel bearings to check to see the...
First thing I would do is pull the pedals off and take them apart and re-grease them. I’ve had mine apart and they needed a clean up and re-greasing. Next would be pull off the crank arms and clean and re-grease. Maybe rear hub/free hub. My money is on the pedals and crank arms.
