Definitely look into getting something steel, I have a 8 speed microshift acolyte groupset on my 45a bbshd and I'm over 1500 miles now and still everything is working great and the cassette shows little wear. The whole cassette is steel and is 12-46t which I find is more than enough for a ebike...
