It just doesn’t get ‘uncomfortable’ on long rides like you do on an eBike.
I’ve never found the perfect saddle, I’ve rode 225 miles in 5 days on the Ergon. Whilst it was a bit sore I wasn’t in any way annoyed by it..
That's OK we were all beginners once..!
It should have sealed OK then. If you hear a puncture rotate the wheel. Then put the wheel on the floor where the puncture is so the sealant pools there. Those Smart Sams are super thin on the sidewall so you will be putting a lot of trust in the sealant...
If you have still got Smart Sam's on there most brambles etc will still get through and you relying on it sealing (which it should). Did you put tubeless sealant in when you set up tubeless?.?
YT is an awesome bike, not sure where in the world you are but there is now a Service Centre/Showroom in Guildford. If your thinking of getting the current models I would hold on a bit as many have said as I am guessing that EP8 cant be far away which will probably mean new bikes soon..The E8000...
I've had the red/blue light using walk mode before (pre firmware). After reset it is fine.
I believe as others have said it's down to having the wrong gear selected to go uphill and trying to use Walk Mode. I'd have it in the top gear.
It doesn't lower the motor power. Seems Walk Assist is now junk which is a shame. I don't use it often but when I do it is really useful. Not Speshs' fault though.
It seems post update the Power Assist defaults in Mission Control won't be the original defaults or what you had set before.
Best...
I think the quoted £1.1k was my bad. I was highlighting IMHO how to make this bike a serious competitor to almost any other bike out that at far higher pricepoints. I've got more miles on Rob's Stilus than he has and honestly if I was in the market again buying a new bike I would most likely go...
I think that's fairly normal mate. I wouldn't get too despondent. 1628m is a hell of of a lot of riding!!
Most people manage 1-2 times a week if they are lucky..
I know you say you don't want to but I would try and find others to ride with, it amplifies the fun 10 fold. I honestly don't ride...
It's a great entry-level full sus Electric Mountain Bike out of the box. It's great to see another bike at a decent price. If you want to throw some cash at it, it just keeps getting better. Like a step change better. I think all we are highlighting here is how to make it better as and when you...
I know silly question but I had that, removed the power connector. Replaced and powered on and it had reset itself...? Did you try that..? Is the bike charging OK?
Since the motors are not yet out of warranty, no market has been developed to service them if Spesh can't or it's too expensive out of Rider Assist.
@Bearing Man I believe can do this, but there's no need at present. I wouldn't worry too much about 10 years time. The bike will look like...
I'd say you will get more out of spending money on a new fork though which is the next best upgrade. If your gonna do that I would go to a 29er which leads me onto the next point...
Go for a mullet setup. 29er at the front and 27.5 at the rear. It's honestly made it one of the most fun bikes...
Everyone did it I think! 160mm on the Levo seems the sweet spot and probably stops peeps buying it thinking they want a bit more travel. I'm slowly leaning towards less travel as I progress..
I have a DPX2 on mine and I think it's marginal gains for the cost. Unless you're blasting down a long...
Hey Kiwi, Hope you're well mate!
I don't think that motor/battery combo suffered the same failure rate the 2019 did. 2019 was a Hero bike for Spesh and has had many more 'reported' failures than the earlier models which most accept are fairly bulletproof, in as much as an e-bike electrical...
Glad you like it @Mikerb I'm so leaning more towards RockShox now.
The suspension setup is all about feel, personal preference and riding style/terrain. Watch some of the WC Downhillers and see how anal they get about it as it affects the whole feel of the bike. I'll bet this now feels like a...
Awesome mate!! Your basically good to go. Next upgrade if you want to really transform it will be the Fork..Honestly, It's night and day in terms of feel and performance.
