I am trying the tranzx. So far, it's fine. Actuates instantly. Only negative so far is that it's a bit slow and does not have a very loud topout clunk. As long as it works and if I can (eventually) get a spare battery and rebuild kit, I think it will be fine.
It looks like this post may be...
That looks really good.
I went with these Amazon ones.
They come in all sorts of heights and come with shims to adjust the bottom lip, which is what's really needed given the stock integrated setup.
On my Large EXe:
OneUp EDC Lite in stem
Custom Dynaplug bar ends
Granite Design Portalege under top tube mount (I use a Silca strap, but the stock strap works fine.)
76 Projects .3l bag with:
OneUp Inflator
25gm+Gorilla Tape, 20gm Co2
Clever flatout lever tool+...
I was expecting this to be the case. Fidlock, sadly, won't be a fix. My fidlock bottle rattles too. They start pretty quiet but as they wear due to shaking while riding they loosen up.
I am planning to try the Arundel Side Loader bottle cage. That was dead quiet on my Ripley. They are so stiff...
Figured out an annoying rattle in the frame. The connectors under the display. I wrapped some packing foam around them to alleviate the issue. Worked like a charm.
So far, not needed. I am not much of a hack to flat rider though. Still working on baseline tune. I pulled the 1 volume spacer and need to see how that affects the ride.
I have heard both ways. Looking at exploded views, it is not clear as fox only shows the view of the elite/factory. There is definitely a keyed shaft under that cover. If a 200 lb rider is not getting over 70% travel, having a lot of compression damping could be an explanation. Won't hurt to...
No issues with clearance. It is VERY close though. I can only say that I am confident it fits a large size frame.
The biggest thing for me has been getting anywhere near full travel. So far, the Vivid is working better. I was very happy with the Float X on my Ripley and Ripmos. The large air...
I decided to see if the sicomtbproducts rail mudguard fits.
It does. This is on a Large Exe.
I applied some clear protection tape on the contact areas. Rode it today and only heard it make any noise on some large hits. Mainly just the lower part contacting the chain stay/bb area.
It's not available yet, but SRAM lists Sram CR-XX-TQ-A1 TQ Chainring 32t. It is aluminum spider with a Steel chainring.
I also found another not available item: e*thirteen e*spec 104BCD Aluminum Direct Mount Spider - 104BCD, 55mm CL, Incl. Bolts, TQ HPR50, Black
There are lots of 104bcd...
Possibly check the toque on the motor bolts. 20NM.
If it's never been done, check the compensation screws. Mine were off by quite a bit from the factory.
Ya, rekons are not amazing for traction. They are fast though and those pressures look optimal. I am running a kryptotal rear and I feel a squirm accelerating out of corners but I like it!
...Oversteer at the exit of corners
That sounds like power delivery. Maybe experiment with a lower power setting or adjust the tune to be less responsive.
The other things I would check are rear tire pressure and how firm the rear shock is setup.
I was able to adjust it with the stock knob while on the bike. Not super easy, but not like I need to change this a lot. All the other controls are readily accessible.
