I follow High Voltage closely and I really like them, but not using the discord though. On their website there was no update for a while, but I will be happy if they will release the bac855 kit.
Although I kinda hope that UART controller is not that bad provided it's tuned properly. Do you...
Not exactly. The volume spacers just make the air spring more progressive but don't reduce the possible travel. How ever you will need to apply more force to go deeper in to the travel.
What motor will you be using?
I saw on the other forum that you had doubts all together wether the controller was changed at all but didn't want to tear the warranty stickers.
One of the ways you can check that is by getting a Bafang UART programming cable and the Bafang software. If the software is able to read your...
I think it's normal you don't get info on battery and display. The battery doesn't have CAN comms and the display is not from Bafang but works with UART. I think Best tool only recognises Bafang components.
Please share your set up, that would be interesting for the future. Also how did you resolve the issue with the display? Do you think the X2 doesn't work with their controller at all or just in your case? Did you order with xt60/grease? I am trying to understand what to order from them and...
Looks nice! In reality I doubt that 3kw motor will allow you to get to that speed simply due to rolling and air resistance. Nonetheless it will be a very fast bike. Did the 46t chainring come stock with the Innotrace?
I have ordered my frame already and I am planning to go Innotrace with the motor.
I would say that 1mm gap is far from ideal... Things flex in the rear triangle a bit and mud and some debri can get stuck between the tire and frame. Also if the wheel good out of true it might start rubbing on the sides. Why such a peculiar choice of tyres? To me 29x2.6 seems plenty
Update and resolution:
Patdam suggested me in DM that the motor should have 2 one-way bearings And this helped me to understand the problem. In fact the main gear sprag bearing is fine and is not the cause(photo1). The culprit was the second sprag bearing located in the middle cog(photo2). If...
I have a mechanical issue with my m510 motor. Perhaps somebody has encountered something similar or has enough knowledge to make a good guess.
It started with the motor producing some grinding sound when you just start pedal and then you would here something click in to its place and the motor...
Perfect. I was planning to use them to attach straps to the frame that will hold my custom battery.
In theory I should be able to fit 48v 30ah battery. In practice I will find that out in a couple of months once I get the frame 🙂
Thank you so much! Now I have all the measurements needed.
Also wanted to ask if the grey cylinder in between bottle cage mounts is a threaded mount for cable routing bracket?
Do ou mean to ask what holds it in place?
The battery was a tight fit so there's not much room for it to move there. I have used 2 velcro straps to attach it to the downtube and there's a piece of hard foam(tire insert) that is wedged between the motor and the battery. That ensures that the...
It's not so much the question of wear of the chain but rather derailleur adjustment.. watch carefully what the chain does on the cassette when the thud appears. Is trying to jump somewhere? If that's not the case check the freewheel
Thank you for taking the time and giving those measures! Perhaps I didn't clearly explain which part I meant so I will try again.
I wanted to ask about the distance between the inner side of the motor rib and the very begining of the upper rib.
In fact I think the battery shape will follow...
Are you sure the issue is coming from the motor and not the freehub of the wheel or the chain? I could see the chain jerk.. have you checked if the chsmain is trying to shift to the next sprocket?
