Not a bad idea, thanks. Maybe I should start a saddle rental service, lol? I know when I was looking I would have subscribed to one and saved hundreds of dollars. I also have the smaller Hybrid Selle but have not tried it yet. The TRK is wider than recommended by my 11.5-12mm sit bone width...
Yes you are correct. The e-mountain version does have the uplifted back while the standard core doesn't, which is what I bought (same high price), but it does incorporate the same general thicker padding. And I guess I'll never know if the e-mountain version would have solved my issues. I...
I had just opposite result and found the Selle to be my salvation, lol. The Core didn't do anything for me and my saddle sore issues, which now seem to be a thing of the past with the Selle.
I just realized that taking a photo of a glossy surface like a rotor in anything but an entire white room will pick up colors all around you. There isn't really any color in that rotor except some dark scuffing. I tried some other pics outside and it was even worse, lol.
The rt56 and rt76 both take metallic but I am using resin pads on them both. You could even see how badly distorted the rt56 was around all the punched features. The rt76 didn't look that bad until I rode with it and then looked and sounded horrible the more I rode.
I just put the Magura...
A lot of brands laser cut their rotors which eliminates punching distortion. Yes looks like it got too hot to me. I was away from the start of my ride when I really got loud and had to really baby it back but I think it's now damaged goods for sure. I think brakes are the one part of mtn...
I decided to install Shimano 203mm rotors on my Tubo Sl that has code r brakes. I just could not get the centerline rotors to perform quietly. I used a 1.5mm shim to account for the 200 to 203mm rotor diameter difference. I had an RT66 that was made in Japan that I used for the front and have...
Anyone else encounter a walk assist error. It's a red and blue bar, space between I think. It's happened twice on my 2021 expert carbon SL and turning the motor off and on clears it and then walk assist works just fine. Not sure what gear I was in or the circumstances when this happened but...
I'm not positive but not sure the 36t and 54t are compatible with the 24t. I did run the 24t on my more powerful Focus Jam2 and it's pretty much indestructible. I had the the 350 Hybrid hub and the DT Swiss site said the the 36t and 54t would not work for that hub. But I don't think I would...
I use the DeMonde freewheel light grease. I guess I will try the 54t for a while and just keep a close eye on it.
I did install the 54t on my SL. The old 36t had about 750 miles on them and looks like very minor wear and maybe a slight nick or two that could probably be burnished out. The...
The SL doesn't produce the boost/torque the larger motors generate and at 73 yrs old I don't produce the torque a fit younger rider generates either so maybe the 54t (6.6 deg instead of 10) might be worth a try. I think the 36t ratchet in the 350 is also aluminum like the 54t but larger teeth...
Old thread I know, sorry. But I'm considering the 54t for my 350 hubs that currently have the 36t. I have about 500 miles on the 36t with zero wear that I can see. I'm probably less aggressive than you at 73 yrs old and less powerful and as you are saying you didn't maintain the 54t as well...
I figure the I9 should be OK. It's the aluminum DT Swiss 54t that might not handle the torque. Can you get quick engagement in spite of motors more coarse internal engagement (don't know what it is but can't be more than 10 deg internally). Just trying to figure if it makes enough difference...
So those of you that have put quicker engaging freewheels on, is there enough advantage given that the motor has its own coarse engagement? I do miss the quick, easy to ratchet engagement I had with I9 wheels on my analog bike. I now have the 36t dt swiss 350 straight pull hub engagement with...
I sold my Focus and bought Specialized LEVO SL. But this is the switch I used and I did not have any issues with it and used it for a while before I sold my Focus. Only the double pole version was rated and tested for 36vdc and high current but the vendor said the one I bought should work and...
Thanks, a lot to do everytime it starts squeaking though and that seems to happen every ride. I cleaned it last ride from above and it was squeaking again in one ride, a dry rubber rubbing on dry rubber sound. I tried some teflon spray this time but I'm sure that will lead to even more dirt...
I think a few others have noticed the stay pivot rubber cover squeaking. Grease just makes it attract more dirt so I was wondering how others have addressed this. Mine was silent for the first 750 miles and now cleaning makes it quiet but temporarily. Does it just pop off for cleaning or is...
Great that it worked out for you. I bought the non-ebike version for my ebike and while not really bad, didn't give me the change and comfort I was seeking, much like all the other high end saddles I invested in. I finally found one that did the trick and it's a pretty radical departure from...

I seem to have turned a corner on saddle sores and have not had one for over a month of riding now. It's hard to determine with any data what the difference is but I'll try to share some things I "think" have helped. And I still get some degree of soreness at the 45 min point of a ride and...
