Down the line would like to get some shorter cranks though, did get the odd...
Had my first decent ride today was pretty impressed with how it rode, very composed on rough terrain and jumps well. My only issue was my speed sensor came loose at the bottom of my run, I was actually surprised how well it pedaled with no motor I only really noticed the weight on steeper climbs.
Just got my frame today, I notice that when trying to thread the rear axle I have to loosen off the hanger otherwise it won't screw in properly anyone else having this issue? Would be annoying to have to loosen the hanger everytime I need to take the rear wheel off.
I agree, 150 is plenty enough. It's also super simple to remove a spacer if you want to test out 52.5 stoke. You might as well just start with a 50 and go from there.
An extra 5mm of stroke will push linkage closer to it's limit, if you want more clearance you could get a 52.5 stroke shock or put a spacer to reduce the stroke of the 210x55. You could also use a offset bushing in reverse to increase the eye to eye of your shock but there is a chance it could...
I thought the HA was 64.5? Do you know the difference in BB hight betweent 29 and mullet? I could be wrong but Im thinking and extra 10mm travel and a 2mm offset bushing would get close to the original geo numbers for a mullet.
Has anyone experimented with a 29er as well as a mullet set up with this frame? Im not sure what way to go. I'm going to be running 170mm fork, Im coming from a 27.5 bike so I'm leaning towards mullet but dont want to change the Geo that much.
I just sent these photos to Jean and asked her what size is standard from the factory. Hopefully they aren't all made too short, did it damage your frame at all?
I dealt with Jean she was very helpful and her responses were quick, I'm not sure on the status of the 48v system though. I would assume potentially more of a lead time. Maybe a silly question but what is the advantage of the Higher voltage anyway?
Yeah I guess it's too early to tell yet. I'd love to see Rob do a review of the LCE930 I think I'm leaning toward it due to the seat stay crossbar. The 410 battery should be enough for my application I think.
