27kg.
Whilst I'm reminded that I'm running 27.5x2.8 Michelin E-Wilds front & rear.
Nevertheless, 63.7 degree headtube angle with a 170mm travel fork
75.5 degree seat tube angle.
I'm gonna adjust some parameters within the motor tune.
The motor ramp up seems a bit too sudden when...
Its a bit of a hodge/bodge but we'll make it work
11 speed Sunrace 11-50t cassette with a Shimano 12 speed SLX M7100 derailleur and a shimano 11 Speed SLX M7000 shifter.
The links required for the chain however is obscured!!!
128 link chain is what I'm counting. And it's still too small ๐
Wow, I didn't know that.
Granted, this is the first frame I've used the Works Components headset on.
I'll bare that in mind when building up my Bafang M510 project bike ๐๐ฟ
It's not finished,
But you get the gist as to what it looks like built.
Huge huge shout out to Works components for the 2 degree angle headset.
I know they've been very busy so I appreciate the speed in which they shipped the headset out to me ๐๐ฟ.
I've gotta say, the level of...
Good call @Mabman. Indeed, I did check the motor before installing it. It wasn't necessary before installing as it is brand nnew. But the motor was reprogrammed ๐๐ฟ
Mabman is correct @Tomteam, UART protocol bafang motors only requires the same cable usee for the BBS Series motor. The...
Hi @Tomteam,
Not all M620 motors are UART. The newest models are CANBus but the form factor for any variant of the M620 remains the same.
As for sourcing the Dengfu frames, their are many ways to obtain them. I've opted for ebay, primarily for buyer protection but you can source them via...
Confirmed,
a OneUp 210mm 31.6 dropper seatpost can be ran slammed into a large Dengfu E22.
Although, I may opt to run a low profile saddle as even I (a rider of 6foot 3inches with a 35mm leg inseem), considers it long ๐ .
I should have updated you all earlier but the motor mounted into the...
I'll be sure to update this thread and the CHEEB thread if I gauge any significant difference between the two frames in terms of geometry @Purpleaki.
I will say this, I am noticing discrepancies between the geometry outlined on the E22 vs my tape measure ๐ . Whether this remains consistent...
I'll look into this. I have noticed that different shock lengths have been used for this frame.
My guess is subject to the shock length may increase/decrease the bottom bracket height and subsequently, the head tube angle.
But I'll play around with different shock lengths and share my findings ๐๐ฟ
The problem isn't the battery (or the cells for that matter). Moreso, the controller is pulling more amps which the BMS on your battery is rated for.
Simply reduce the maximum current in accordance to a 48v battery (like 20amps), and you'll find that the bike with all its features (like the...
The M620 can be programmed to adhere to UK/European eapc legislations.
It's not difficult. However, the motor will need to be reprogrammed to use less power (and of course cap the speed to 15.5mph or 20mph).
Technically speaking, this will only allow the motor to produce a force of 120nm of...
Its similar to the E10 (made by the same people).
But this frame uses a different motor, rear shock and slightly different geometry.
They do share the same battery.
Once fully built, I'll compare and contrast to the E10.
The wire loom would only be included if you buy the motor. However, the connector to attach the motor is installed onto the connector which is on the frame.
All M620 come with Anderson connectors so they simply plug together.
Decided to pick up one of these frames sets after receiving many enquiries through Instagram, EMTB Forums, EBR, etc.
Hopefully, this thread will be of use to anyone who is considering buying/building up one.

It was through Carbon Cycles on Ebay which I picked one up for the...
I wouldn't worry.
Just ride the bike as you would ordinarily.
It's quite easy for someone to 'put the fear of God' when using/maintaining an ebike. But 9/10, it simply falls down to having commonsense (clean the bike after a muddy ride, check for wear/tear, dont leave a problem to further...
This ought to be good.

Apologies for the above link which ultimately is a review. Unfortunately, I can't find an actual website containing the stock specifications ๐
So I'd like to give a huge shout out to Merlin Cycles, Halfords...
Its days like this, I thank god for the life I lead, the opportunities I've been blessed with, the kind people who I meet daily and the memories I take away with me.
I pray the sun shines bright for each and every one of you โ๐ฟ
Useful info. I'll look into it a bit more as I'm aware that variations exist between bafang models of motors subject to the era they are released.
These variations can include gearing materials, controller etc.
I'd rather not base my Intel primarily testimonials from a couple of years back. But...
