There's rain and there’s rain . Problem with gortex is it's only good for x amount of washes. Some swear by reproofing never tried it personally. If you get covered in mud you need to wash it quite a lot. I'm waiting to try out MT 500 trousers I got 3 weeks ago but it's been toooo dry.
I had a levo one on pc. I got it from this forum told you how to build bike basically. I imagine a lot of the instructions are generic for a lot of spesh models. I used it for rerouting a rear brake cable maybe. May still have it if your struggling.
You can use a hose on wheels etc which are the dirtiest I think . Just keep water away from electrics and motor. On sprinkle setting you get most of the muck off.
Spring tides today the ☠️ pirate shack nearly wet at the mouth of River Spey. Mild again but weather due to change tomorrow . Dry cycling over for a few months I imagine. Surprised to see I did 30 miles won't be doing that long in the winter too cold.
Keep getting update firmware on my levo when I switch on. Is it worth bothering with 🤔 I've only noticed it a couple of times. I usually update as requested.
Finally managed to check out a smidgen of the Dunkeld area . Not sure if these are unofficial trails but there's lots of them .
I was only exploring but the amount of serious steep rooty decents that finished on the forest road i was going up was scary , pics just can't capture the steepness...
Still living the dream up here weather wise . Plan is to walk up Schiehallion the morn then overnight in van and have a look at Dunkeld area Wednesday with bike its supposed to be good there. I will get lost probably.
Too overgrown in summer this route even today the gears got all choaked up with bracken. There's an easy way and hard way to do a mile of this trail so I did both. Definitely getting too old for the hike a bike bit and I walked over quite a few technical bits. The drop would be sore if I went...
Yes I remember Rholf had his spare wheels in the boot he didn't live in Halden. I did a hill a couple years ago in winter conditions. I had to use sides of track due to all the ice. Adrian lives near the hill so has studded tyres on Ebike all winter . Very impressive to see the grip he got..
