Thanks mate! Very nice location! I know Kellys is a slowakian Brand, Theos is a great looking bike - but never saw one on the street until now - only on Robs review!

To sum it up: We would kindly ask You @Rob Rides EMTB to contact Bafang and ask for update of 3.2 firmware to fit to 48V Battery. That would be great! Thanks mate!

Is this Your current firmware? The one only You could flash, that paralyzed @Puschtrale Controller? That was taken off Github due to be faulty on other M510?

    VMG Typhon discussion thread

Not a bad choice. The RS are way easier to dial in, and they perform great. May be the adjustments cannot be set to get the last 2% of performance out of the shock - but who cares. I would never spend that much on a shock. I‘m patient and by used, and then spend another 100€ for professional...

Wise we have to act. Patiend we have to be. On Bafang we must trust

The big issue with 52V firmware is battery attenuation. The battery will cut off way to early.

I run the older CC DB Coil, with same adjustments (HSC/LSC and HSR/LSR). Needs some attention until dialed in, but then it performs flawless. Awesome shock!

Fits to my experience with same firmware.

Hi @Rob Rides EMTB is this the firmware You flashed on Your M510?

Hmm.. he posted the firmware that was supplied for his M510 by Bafang. Good question..

Would be the 2nd time we get a faulty firmware from Bafang. Unbelievable. I‘m wondering how Robs bike can run without issue…

    Bafang m510

I think this is what they do. I mapped the SoC to Voltage multiple times, please refer to my earlier posts here. With my current firmware everything is fine. And yes, if the firmware is done for 52V and wrongly documented, this would explain the behavior!

Yes. Thats what the firmware name is telling, 48V and 14A.

Are You running the 840 Wh Dengfu battery?

    Bafang m510

But this is not the latest firmware that Rob provided yesterday, correct? This is the firmware I‘m running currently with no issues, great attenuation and cut off at 41V. Why don’t You try Robs firmware?

Thanks mate - but would be interesting to see the available Watt at PAS 5 - otherwise You are limiting the Amps by PAS setting!

    Bafang m510

If you look at the integral below the Volage at 5 A, and compare the remaining capacity between 3.15 Volt and 2.7 Volt, it‘s almost nothing. If You draw more Amps, it‘s even less. No reason in my opinion to risk battery health, for a couple of additional km / hm. With the power cut it‘s no fun...

Thanks mate for the info, highly appreciated You took the risk and updated firmware! No power loss below 10%? Did You watch how many Watt available on the display?
