Hi everyone,
I'm getting a single tick or two (or three :)) anytime I try to apply significant pedaling force to one or the other pedal.
I've got both crank arms and the spider off but nothing obvious so far.
To me, it feels as if some flexing in the motor/bottom bracket area might be the root...
Thanks for the clarification.
I finally took the initiative to actually read the manual which not only derailed the power reduction scheme, it also recommends running the battery 80-20%, when possible, for optimum longevity.
I also browsed thru a Specialized Battery Charging FAQ, which sugessted...
I ride my Gen 3 Levo almost entirely in ECO mode or with assist completely turned off.
What I've experienced very consistently is that once remaining battery life hits 10%, the motor assist system apparently goes into some sort of battery conserve mode. ECO feels like no assist and Trail feels...
No worries, I've come to my senses since, mainly because of the following:
1) Spoke to Fox Service and it didn't sound like they were overtly promoting the idea of switching over to the X2. Instead, I was advised to put in a bigger volume spacer in my Float X for better mid-travel support.
2)...
Come on guys, someone here must have an X2 Factory on their gen 3 Levo.
I'm planning an upgrade on my Levo Comp from a Float X to an X2. Just want to make sure I get a shock with a close enough internal tuning on it.
Thanks but I get that.
It's just that the description @j.e. posted above is of a Performance shock and AFAIK none on the gen 3 Levos came with a Performance X2.
Never the less, I'm still very much interested in seeing the Fox description for a gen 3 Levo Float X2 Factory.
Thank you for this.
It looks like a Performance series X2. May I ask which model of Levo do you have?
It's my understanding that the Expert hand Performance Elite, and the Pro & S-works came with the Factory version.
Any suggestions on how to remove excess cable slack for the E-remote? Can it be pushed back into the frame without causing any issues?
All Specialized web photos show the cable nicely running a long the dropper remote cable but on my Comp Alloy there is quite a bit of excess length.
TIA
There is a Fox 38 Rhythm listed on the Fox website. Also, as @BruceJR pointed out, there is one for sale on pinkbike.
Also, the logo should clearly say Rhythm along the bottom.
No, you didn't misinterpret my question.
We were actually discussing how a Fox 38 Rhythm compared to a Fox 38 Factory.
There actually is a Fox 38 Rhythm! @brentonb has both Rhythm and Factory versions of the Fox 38 and was describing his take on how those 2 compared in real life.
Thanks for your response.
I'm warming up to the idea of picking up a newish Fox 38 take-off while continuing to ride on the Rhythm, then swap it in at the service interval.
Your signature states a 2022 Levo Expert which already comes with a 38PE. Are you saying that you swapped it for a Factory...
Is it beneficial to fit a Fox 38 fork to a Levo Comp Alloy with a Float X rear shock?
I'm quite happy with the Float X and have no desire to switch to the more problematic Float X2.
Also, don't really have any issues with the 36 Rhythm on the bike.
Simply tempted with a Fox 38 swap out of...
Oh, sorry, I missed your questions.
Prior to this, I had never taken out the battery.
My neighbor and riding buddy found the insert in the bed of his pickup truck after we got back from a MTB road trip to the local mountains.
Most likely it fell out from the drain holes on the bottom of the...
Kudos, that is exactly what that insert is also used for,
However, all 5 for the NDS cover are still in place. as seen in the picture.
So either the one that fell out is an extra floating around inside the motor cavity, left over from the assembly process (somewhat unlikely), or from some other...
