    Bafang motor systems

I guess the devil will be in the details. I had heard somewhere that the M610, when it came out, would be Class I and II compatible. Which would be a little helpful where I come from. Not sure if that is true.

    Bafang motor systems

Wow. Thanks. Does it fit in the same space and have the same fastener patterns as the M510 and M600? Will it fit in the same frame as these others? When is it available.

    Bafang motor systems

I am wondering how people rate the Bafang M510 and M600 compared to other EMTB motor systems? I am looking to build a trail/ all mountain style E mountain bike. I have been leaning towards bikes with the m510 as a possibly good tradeoff between features and price. Which motor system will get...

What exactly is “E Bike Tuning” on a set of Fox Forks?!?

That sounds like a quality coil spring fork or maybe a PUSH Industries or similar coil over air system. Already common for enduro riders.

    Kabon

"With a super complicated rear linkage design using no less than 8 interconected bars. You know, to optimise rear wheel travel path.". . . Most of the DIY frames are Horst Link 4 bar. Which seems to work fairly well when done correctly. I am looking for a medium frame, 440-450mm reach seems...

Thanks. Great advice. Those VMG bikes look great. I think the M620 is about 1000 watts. I could be wrong though. Where I live I think the trails that allow EMTB travel limit it to class l and class ll. Or what I believe is around a 250 watt output maximum. And 20 mph maximum. I admit a lack of...

    Kabon

"What is for you an modern geometry" 64 degree head angle more or less. 76-78 degree seat angle. Reasonably short chainstays. Short seat tube with allowance for decent dropper post. Somewhat oppulent reach.

    VMG Typhon discussion thread

Is the M620 too fast and powerful for most legal trail use? Is there an M610 motor, which keeps the M600 within legal trail limits? Also, what battery would I need to get me through a fairly long back country ride? We have some trails nearby that may be 25-30 mile rides with in-excess of...

    Kabon

I think it says it comes with a frame, a motor "3 Types: Comes without Motor / With Bafang M510 Motor kit / With Bafang M600 Motor kit". And extra for a 620 WH Bafang battery. This frame looks to have more modern geometry than the DengFU. Which would be better for where I ride. I am mostly...

Great that the M510 is strong. It is lighter, cheaper, and I imagine a little stingier on power than the M600.

How do you guys like the M600 motor? How is the range, power, and performance?

    Kabon

Is anybody familiar with Kabon frames? I am trying to build a trail/ enduro bike this winter. I have come across this frame on Aliexpress. This will be my first EMTB build. Although I have built and serviced many conventional mountain bikes over the years...
