Chris I am in the same place as you now.
We have 2 Levo’s and both have had replacement motors, 2 for me and 1 in my wife’s, she had also had a new battery due to water ingress.
I just have to make it to April and I will be swapping to Sant Cruz, now the bullet is out it’s what I’ve been...
This sounds similar to what happened to my replacement motor in October.
The motor failed in Aug after 2K miles so I had a new one fitted by Berksihre same day service.
This worked for 346 miles until it died and stranded me 4 miles from the car out in the FOD.
Now it had behaved very different...
Exactly the same thing happened to me at the beginning of the year. Berksihre cycles will send you a new cable in the post FOC under warranty. I didn’t even purchase the bike from them original, service is second to none.
All you will have to do is pay the postage by card when you talk to them...
I am in love ??? I have been waiting to jump on the Santa Cruz fanboy train for so long, that Bronze finish is just waiting to have oil slick parts dripped all over it.
I had the motor cable issue back in Jan, this is not the same issue. I would get the cable changed for sure. I didn't get lights when the cable went wrong i got nothing it was just dead, wiggling the cable made it work but then it was cutting in and out then died. I actually put the old cable on...
So my 2019 Expert died after 2500miles. Had the motor replaced same day (belt had failed) by the amazing folks at Berkshire cycles back in Aug. Everything was ok for a few weeks then i started to get the same blue & Red error lights, fixed every time by a switch on and off.
With 374 miles on the...
I run a 700w so can only speak for that. I have 2500 miles on my Levo in a year and a bit, around 1000 with it fitted. I do t ride that much in turbo mostly just 35% trail and a bit of 25% eco.
I don’t notice the impact on distance. As always it’s subject to elevation as well as miles but for...
Ok good news after a proper ride it still works fine, trail seams to be a little different in power delivery but turbo is full on full fat no speed limiter
Just had the update and I think from a very short ride around the estate I live that’s it’s no longer working as it did before, anyone else got any thoughts?
Ok so went for my 12mile isolationist ride with no device fitted and to start with no issues then it cut out twice. I think it’s the plug not fitting correctly due to the new battery cable being slightly different in design.
To be fair I fitted it after Birkshire sent it to me under warranty so...
I am now having the ams issue with not being able to switch the bike in unless I disconnect and reconnect the plug.
it’s also started powering off yesterday whilst ridding and then when you do get it working TCU stuck on trail and handle bar switch not working,
I all ready have the new updated...
The weather is actually beautiful today, unfortunately my bikes in the shop awaiting a new rear mech, with a bit of luck it will be done by lunch and I can get out this afternoon
Hi all, trashed my rear wheel today only 10min into a ride in the FOD. Not sure how or why it failed, ended up braking 4 spokes.
Looking for suggestions up to £500 for a new wheel set.
Also some advice, I know it’s SRAM XD as I have replaced the cassette myself and have the tools needed but I...
