went for a full SQLabs cockpit to improve my RAD/RAAD (and comfort ;p ):
- SQ80X stem 35mm (mostly for the +6° stem angle)
- SQ30X handlebar with 45mm rise
- SQ70X grips
wait, the Ebike Alarm that comes with the Bosch connect module ? this one have it's own GPS and I would be surprised if Bosch didn't use the gps speed from that to double check motor stats
My understanding is that PWM ports can output up to 5V, which ought to be enough for our coils there (especially the handmade ones) right ? Wouldn't rewiring the 5V pin of our coil to a PWM port just work ? (this is where I got that 5V output value from : How To Change the PWM Frequency Of...
Couldn't we use the PWM pins on the nano to generate a sine wave ? (please forgive my ignorance, just throwing wild guesses here after reading a couple google results :geek:)
from that doc :
seems to me like we may need to up our game and have more precise measurements of that magnetic field/have to reproduce it more precisely to avoid detection
Couple wild guesses at what we (may) learn from that :
- Seems the dreadded 1000km "limit" where the motor does extra checks that gets most of the modchips flagged might be taken from what distance these chips feed the engine ... would a higher multi have caused it to happen later ? (@Koekie...
Guess we'll just have to enable GPS for setup mode then, and ensure we disable it afterwards.
I can't see any valid legal ground for them to flag the bike as tampered with just because wheels are turning while GPS is stationary; this ought to happen when working on a bike stand and forgetting to...
device plans are ready and device is rather easy to build (I'm pretty bad at soldering yet managed to build mine in a couple of days once all the components were sourced ;) ). Will indeed take a few more weeks before @megabobra is ready to send out the ones he offered to make ;)
why pointing to this rip-off when our very own @megabobra made the OG device, provide plans for free, and offers to make the device for you for a minimal fee ;)
I wonder if that coldn't be an artefact of riding with the battery badly secured, where that could in turn bend or get the connector in a wrong orientation somehow as I also noticed once that the battery could indeed feel clipped yet not be fully inserted/correctly clipped in and would still...
We tested with megabobra, he can send DMs to ppl with less then 10posts and we can reply that, so no worries, he will DM you when ready, thats the whole point of this separate thread ;)
AFAIK arduino nano operates at a minimm of 5V (and supports up to 20V, hence why we can use the 12V lights port there), so that would likely not be enough to power the arduino
I've seen a few interested people (including me) haven't reached the 10 post requirement to be able to DM member yet and would hate to see some having to do "shitposting" on these forums just to get there ... maybe create a dedicated thread for that so you have a nice list of people you may have...
Your plan sounds good, also have the advantage that you wouldn't be crossing the same border on your way in and out from Andorra, so they won't be remembering the presence of a bike in your trunk ;)
As said tho, I wouldn't worry too much about it, especially if it isn't in a big box, since...
This tbh ...
Also, Andorra got way lower taxes then its neighbor countries (both France and Spain), but you might want to get your bike off the box and a bit dirt before going back from there as you will encounter the french or spanish customs first (depending on which way you decide to get...
Hi there,
I'm from Southern france (Toulouse area) and blame Rob for getting myself a new Strive:On (which I absolutely love) and providing a nice place to discuss about it 😁
looking forward to learning a lot and exchanging ideas with everyone here :)
Cheers
Hey, been following these developments with quite some interest and just registered here so I can register my interest in a complete, plug & play setup from you (altho I'll still try to build my own device in the meanwhile, I'd like to have something that's better integrated and get the...
