I'd like to replace the top and bottom headset bearings on my Sam 6.8, they are creaking and noisy.
Looks at parts needed, are the items in the link below correct and all I need?

Mental age - mid 20's
Location - East Midlands, UK.
Bike - Focus
Ride - as many weekends as I can.
Problems - arthritis in my knees and currently suffering from tennis elbow.
That's one mod, but not the bike mod😉
That was Sherwood Pines yesterday with 32 other riders. Blue, green and red route in one go.
Pines is just 20min from me.
As i am now the wrong side of 50, according to the opticians, i have to wear varifocal glasses full time.
I asked about prescription cycling glasses suitable for mtb riders and was told to use prescription sunglasses. My question is, what options do i have? What do you, riders with varifocal...

New to emtb, no mods really apart from Renthal bar, tubeless and orange ZEB stickers on the front shock..
On the list is:
New saddle.
New headset but keeping the cables in the headset.
Grips.
2022 Focus Sam2 6.8.
Have done just over 100 miles, with some steep decents and mixed dry, wet, muddy rides.
Last ride the brake lever would pull back to the grips before getting bite. Adjusting the level arm position did not help (and was too far out to use).
Purchased the SRAM bleed kit...

The Focus loved the knarly, rocky quarry.
I bust my ankle 16 months ago, twisted it round and bust the tendons.
Did crutches for 6 weeks, wearing a brace (after swelling stopped) and physio for the last 12 months. I still have to do ankle exercises every other night to build strength.
Stopped me riding for 3 months but slowly went back...
