    Powerfly Motor Re-build Kit?

Hello. I have a Trek Powerfly 4 with the Bosch Performance Line CX motor. I have had the bike for a couple of years and put over 2000 miles on it. Last time I rode it, the motor was a good bit louder than normal. So I am thinking I may need to do a rebuild. Can someone direct me to a link...

Riding under a powerline bad for battery?

Electronics are designed with shielding incorporated into their structure since there are sources of electric field everywhere. I wouldn't worry about it.

What's the worst thing you've bought for your eMTB this week?

I knew they were cheap but not complete trash.

What's the worst thing you've bought for your eMTB this week?

Agree on the MuckyNutz, complete trash. On the flipside, the Cirrus Kinekt suspension seat post I purchased a few months ago has literally save my ass a lot of soreness.

Has your EMTB made you fitter, or kept you as fit, as your regular MTB?

Riding more and further since getting my Trek Powerfly 4 last year. Definitely in better shape and I enjoy the rides more than ever.

    625 VS 500 W Range?

I don't think that will be a problem. I am pretty disciplined and stay in Eco the majority of the time. Its just I am going on longer rides and by the end I am extremely tired. When the battery runs out, it feels like I am dragging a boat anchor.

    625 VS 500 W Range?

So I have a Trek Powerfly 4 with a 500W battery. Been riding farther and I am bumping into the limit of the battery. On relatively flat and smooth pavement in Eco, I get about 50 miles of range. On hilly roads, I get about 40 to 42 miles of range. I am thinking of purchasing a 625W battery...

    Best EMTB tires?!?!?!

I do mostly road and paved trail riding with a little bit of off road. I have running the Maxxis HookWorms in a 29" and love them. Very smooth yet also excellent grip.

    Full suspension versus hardtail

I have a Trek PowerFly 4 which had front suspension and a hardtail. I added a Kinekt suspension seat post and my ass has thanked me ever since. Kinekt Comfort in Motion: Kinekt Comfort in Motion

    Full suspension versus hardtail

I have a Trek Powerfly 4 hardtail. I mostly ride pavement and gravel so a hardtail was more appropriate for me. I have taken it on some bumpy off-road trails and it did fine. If you will be riding more off-road, a full suspension is the way to go.

    625 Battery for Powerfly 4?

So I recently purchased a Trek Powerfly 4 bike. It is my first e-bike and I love it. The bike came with a 500 watt battery. I am interested in getting a 625 battery for my bike for more range. So I know that I need the vertical version of the battery. The 500 has a spacer to fit into the...
