Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

Ooohh errr…I too like a high stack height which is why at 6’ 2.5” (half does matter …he he) the 520 feels spot on and not too long by any means even with saddle down and in a more aggressive riding position. Hope you enjoy it. Mine is beyond great. Just don’t have those light bling wheels to...

Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

....Snap ! Mines 23.5kg with pedals and mud ;-) 700wh battery, is yours the same battery? You'll love it ...I'm on Zeb Select and they suit the bike a treat. Have you offset the top shock bushing yet. This does make it feel a little more planted in corners as lower. Give a run down on how...

Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

Hi Rob, Yes an offset bushing in the top eyelet and flip chip set low at the bottom (Yoke end). This gives a pretty good overall geometry as above. Static BB height a little higher maybe 350-352 however once you load it its fine. I find that with an eMTB if you want to both techincal/rocky...

Be aware of Shimano's paultry warranty 🐔

I could not agree more with the sentiments of this thread and hope the manufacturers are monitoring too. Although not convinced any will do much as eMtb fly off the shelves regardless. The future is serviceable motors, Polini are leading the way here it seems. Rocky Mountain separate their BB...

Be aware of Shimano's paultry warranty 🐔

I had my e8000 finally die on me 6 months past warranty. 1700 miles. initially Shimano just wanted to sell a full price unit. sent motor to Alex at E-Motor repairs Cumbria as he was the only place willing to open up my motor. Lo and behold, in September after a dry summer the unit was full of...

Cheers for that… You live in a fantastic playground; A Basin for some scary chutes, Silverton Railway (utterly beautiful in snow) and fun landing at Denver in all that rotor off the mountains ;-) From a dry, for now, UK…

What do I do? Whyte E150RS to Levo SL...??

Hi I live in South Wales where the Geometron is tested (my other bike) and Dirt Mag did their testing and ride mainly hand cut trails …not often bike parks of which there are many and mainly climb around 6-700ft at a trot. On week days when it’s quiet I climb back up the DH stuff a bit like...

What do I do? Whyte E150RS to Levo SL...??

Battery consumption depends hugely not just on elevation gain but how much involvement the motor has had in said gain. This depends on fitness, terrain and as you say settings. Example: You use gently sloping fire roads to gain height where you can input most of the power and the motor tops up...

Levo Gen 3 Seat too high.. cut seat post?

Most enduro style bikes are now designed with steep ST and for seat to be dropped a long way not ridden like XC bikes..that is the whole point of droppers to get the seat out of the way to allow freedom of movement. Only those bikes with very short ST may cause interference however I’d guess...

Levo Gen 3 Seat too high.. cut seat post?

my s5 Kenevo came with a 150 dropper which for me at nearing 6’3” and 35 inseam was clearly not right. when I asked why they said Spesh cannot always get the right dropper for the bike so stuff on what’s available. your S3 Levo Turbo ST is 405. that means 16 inches from top of seat tube to...

What do I do? Whyte E150RS to Levo SL...??

This thread shows just how much buying any bike is a very individual decision. Based on your nature of riding, experience, fitness, body shape, age and objectives. As above, many like the cross over feel of a light weight eMtb and I know some that wouldn’t have anything but a bike that feels...

What do I do? Whyte E150RS to Levo SL...??

When I want to ride a mountain bike I ride my mountain bike, mainly with my mates non of whom have a battery and motor. when I want to do steep, technical climbs I use my full fat mullett Kenevo turbo which needs full power to get up the fun stuff I like to climb….then beat my times back down...

Yep different geo…different kinematic….different wheel size….it will all need dialling in to get the best

What do I do? Whyte E150RS to Levo SL...??

As above you may be struggling to move from a 26 to 29 front end. Also a longer, slacker and lower bike will feel less twitchy and less enthusiastic to be lobbed into tighter stuff. 29ers need to be ridden a little differently to get the best out of them. Think more carve than rooster in...

Levo Gen 2 New Levo Firmware release in Mission Control

Have you set acceleration response to low or zero ? This can help with a more direct feel and less “touch and go” with cranks. This can help with more technical climbs I find as less peaks in torque or over run.

    Reign E+ 2022

It’s a pity we have to potentially base a buying decision on a translated web site review of a bike we have never seen in the flesh. Let alone having experienced ourselves. ”Steep steering angle gives confidence…” really ? I wouldn’t chuck a gravel bike down a World Cup DH track unless...
