OMG - Just got my bike back. Wowzers what a difference. I forgot what it sounded like to ride in silence. Sounds like my 2018 Levo...the way it should have been from the get go. Love it!
I finally rode with another Levo member and it was hilarious. My bike was soooo loud. Ended up bringing it to LBS to get replacement. Recorded mine under load and the new bike same gear under load....night and day difference. Mine sounded like the on recorded in this thread...it was...
Got mine in and operational. I just shoved it in the tubing without velco...its fine. Does what it says and no issues! Now lets see if my legs can actually pass 20mph uphill.
40, been riding since...forever. First eBike at 38 (Gen 1 Levo) and moved on to the 19 Levo and loved it since it released. Other than I think mine is loud...Still have the Analogs too.
When I ordered min late November, I wanted the IL. Spoke to CC directly and they advised on getting the CS. Just took some calipers to mine - 9.5 shaft. They were aware it was going on the 2019 Levo. Not once did they warn against it.
Straight swap, had to buy some bushing kit for the top (6mm Bolt 20mm Eyelet Bushing Kit HWDA)...and used existing bottom eylet flipchip thing.
Wow, I havent been on forums in a while and saw that picture. I know they dont recommend the IL version...interesting to see that broken on a CS.
Any...
...also, went with the 600lb coil and its solid. I have the 650lb, but havent even thought about trying since I got the desired sag and feel Im looking for.
Yeah, I was pretty pissed at my new tires. I went Maxxis Aggressor in the rear and Spesh Eliminator front and it was a @&$?! to get on. Probably should have stretched them out for a day or so....eventually did it and damaged a sticker on my wheel from levers. Didnt care for the rim stickers...
No, I rode them on another bike with DT Wheels...but you can def feel the difference.
Cushcore is really Cush/Squish feeling. Airliners are a bit more stiff...but still cushy. I prefer the feel of the Airliners because even with impact, it doesn't feel like the tire is compressed to far...
I ride at about 190lbs with gear. I like to run fairly low pressure depending on conditions. With the Vitorria Airliners, those things fill quite a bit of airspace and are pretty dense. You get the benefits of low pressure traction without the thump of going through rock gardens and smashing...
