The purion is a bit goofy and half-broken, but I'm reluctant to spend too much money on one that is likely to just break the next time I fall! I think bosch should develop a better solution to this. The one on the new Spesh turbo levo is the way to go in terms of design.
Thanks for your answer. I didn't bother doing anything with it in the end and it is working fine. However, the guy in the shop told me yesterday that the way it currently is there is a risk of a short circuit and if that happened it could potentially fry the motor! I'm just wondering if anyone...

I had a small off today and the Purion sustained a knock, taking out one of the buttons and slightly moving the other one. It still works OK. My question is, based on the pic, is it still likely to be water resistant and ok for riding in the rain?
