I found the Ride Aligned set up damn near perfect for my Range, as far as the suspension set up went.
I did install a 35mm rise bar 800mm wide though. My shop had a tough time finding a 650 spring for my bike ( I'm a wee bit heavier), so it might be better to let them deal with it...
I,m not sure if it's 60lbs, but it has to be close. I have to say comparing the new norco to some of my buddies ebikes, it does seem over built but in a good way. Mines a large with 720wh battery, heavy tires, brakes.
I'm in the Vancouver area too. These bikes are definitely on the heavy side. My bike scale only goes to 50lbs. It reads error when I tried to weigh it. Its my first ebike so I have nothing to compare it to, but all my eeeb buddies told me to get the biggest baddest ebike I could because the...
My Vlt Range A2. Fun bike. Changes are, one up bar ,one up dropper remote, saint brakes, 220mm sram centreline 6bolt rotors on shimanno center lock adaptors. Going to do some kind of onboard tool kit with the upper bottle cage mounts, and I'm done. For now:)
I have been riding my new VLT Range for a few weeks now. Worried it was going to be to much bike, but man is it fun.
I am almost finished the few changes I had planned for it, then i will post some pics. Should I start a Range VLT thread or add to this one?
My buddy just bought the Reign E1 a couple of weeks ago had a 4 or 5 rides on it and it got muddy. Hosed it off a couple of times, and now it will shut off while climbing or descending. He bought it from a corporate store here in Vancouver. He will hopefully find out if they can fix it next...
I cancelled my order as well and got my deposit back. I bought a in stock Norco Range VLT. I had the same thoughts as you about any warranty issues. To bad, looks like such a nice bike. The one from Peru in the pics above looks awesome!
Yes, you are probably right about the Cdn distributor thing. I talked with my shop yesterday, they only received half their order:( So I keep waiting or change plans.
I am waiting for the E2 also. Called the LBS I ordered my bike from today in North Van and he said the bikes are at the warehouse in Nanaimo. I'm not sure if this is total Bullcookies or not, because I would not have clue where Marin Canada headquarters are. I will tolerate this a wee bit longer...
Thanks for the reply. I thought with that huge 2.8 rear tire some one might try a narrower 29er in there.
I always see these bikes that say they are 29 or 27.5plus compatible .Its a bit confusing. I have not tried a mullet setup before, looking forward to it.
Witch wheel set have you ordered? Will you be sticking with the 27.5 rear?
I am waiting on a E2 also, so just curious. Bike looks great by the way. I can't wait.
